The Official Lanyard Thread

I began transacting for an early gen Cheburkov just two weeks back and received it about ten days ago. I initially ordered a more modest bead for it, but re-thought and purchased something larger with considerably more pizzazz. I tied it up yesterday with a couple diamond knots in older pattern 550 Moonstruck and got some pics in today's nice afternoon light.

This wide diamond knot, using some 750lb paracord which is pretty hefty, makes a pretty sizeable knot against this smallish knife ;) but works great. The bead is one that gscreely gscreely Gary Creely made using a 3d printer to match the 3d printed scales on the knife.

How about a thread that shows all the lanyards, beads etc that you have attached to your knives. Seems lately I do enjoy carrying a lanyard on my knives as it does make it easier to pull the knife out of the pocket. Especially when I am working outside and my hands may be dirty and I don’t want to get my pants pocket dirty. I plan on getting or making more so it would be nice to see all the creations you guys have made and your thoughts on them.

Fixed blades, folders, traditional, autos, let’s see pics of any knife with a lanyard on them.

I think those are called fobs?

Not sure how strict the definition is, I think of lanyards as cordage to keep it from dangerously falling?

Edit to add.... I like the Middle one

There's all ready a large page full of these.

New fob for the new knife. Maker supplied me with a few pieces of the scales so I glued them up and turned a bead.
Wasn't sure how I was going to go. Tried a couple diamond knots. Tried moving the bead around a few times. Finally settled on this.
