Received my 0562CF today. I could write a long winded review of it just from initial impressions, but there is no reason. It is everything you hoped it would be.

EDIT: The swedge grinds on mine are actually ridiculously uneven, I hadn't taken the time to inspect the knife thoroughly enough, I was too enamored by the action of it. Pictures to come.

The first line (top) indicates where the swedge grind ends on the presentation side of the blade. The second line (bottom) shows where the swedge terminates on the lock side. You can kind of see the unevenness from an aerial view, it's much more noticeable when you have it in hand and flip between the two sides.

So it's a nearly perfect knife, but a production piece nevertheless.

I got mine in today as well, but just not liking the design. Everything however is pretty awesome. Flips good. Solid. Centered. And looks to be a better performer than the hinderer as far as slicing goes (seems to be ground out a bit thinner towards the edge)

Believe it or not, I've seen swedge grinds that uneven on custom pieces. It's more of an eyesore than anything else. And, of course, if it really bothers you, you could send your knife in to ZT and I'll bet they'd replace the blade with one that has a more even grind. I mean, if they'd replace a carbon fiber scale on an 0770CF as they did on mine because the patterning was off, I have to believe they'd replace a blade on yours because the grinds are off. That's just how good ZT's warranty is.

Oh wow that looks pretty darn uneven.
Mine is extremely even on the swedges, and primary flats from what I inspected.

I'd just send it in, Misanthropia. I wouldn't even call ZT. I'd fill out the warranty form and ship it to Tualatin. I'd be blown away if ZT doesn't install a new blade in it for you.

Yeah I've had it happen on plenty of knives, it's no biggy. I just really jumped the gun on saying it was "perfect" though. I know what kind of aesthetic things will bother me and which will not, and this falls into the latter category. I wouldn't bother sending it in because everything else is so tremendous.

My swedge grinds are similar to yours, bothered me at first but I'm over it. It's not a collectors item, so I'm not too concerned. It's the only thing wrong with mine as well. And I've been having bad luck with knives lately, so I don't want to return it and get an even worse one.

I was a bit more long winded than usual in my review and comparison of these two great knives, but they surely deserve it.

I've been waiting on this forever, but now I'm thinking why not wait until the blackwash comes out. I guess they will end up getting my money anyway they go about it. Nice pics!

Mine has the same uneven swedge but the edge and action are sooo sweet! Best flipper action iv ever had. Now i feel like my other zt flippers are off. My 801 is way stiffer hurts the thumb and even closes much stiffer. My 601 has no detent and almost needs help to flip out. This one is perfect action!
