If that blade cuts as well as it looks. That will be the only way to get my 0561 out of my pocket. I will miss that 1/4 inch though. After working out the factory edge on mine . My Elmax has performed amazingly. I just cant dull this sucker with a 30-40 convex edge. But M390 is about the only super steel I have not tried.

I dunno. I'm just not feeling it for some reason. It's the design. I don't know what, but I'm not jumping for joy on this.

this is gonna be a real good year, my three favorite knife companies. Really cannot wait for the Emerson collab

Handle looks funky, but I am liking the knives. Maybe this one could be my first M390 blade?

Hopefully the pimper/scale making community will well support this knife. I'll be getting the CF version for the blade steel, but I'm not a CF fan.

Ok.... ZT curious here but never seen one in person. What's the big dif between this and the 566 that has you all selling your 566?

It has a titanium lockside vs steel on the 0566, ball-bearings instead of washers and A/O. And you can get it with carbon fiber scale and an M390 blade.

I really like the 562CF but will keep my 566. The steel lockbar on the 566 is less sticky that Ti and for the size of the knife I don't mind the weight at all. I'd quicker sell my unused 560 before my 566, and plan to get a 562 (preferably the CF version).

It looks like the 0562 has a steel insert on the lock face, so stickiness shouldn't be an issue.

^^Sorry, I was aware of that but was a bit vague in my post. I was posting in reference to the post about people selling their 566 to get the 562 and at the same time comparing the steel of the 566 to the Ti on the 560.

Anyone have ANY idea when we can purchase the 562cf? (edited) Did ZT give ANYTHING away with regard to same? I'm closed... Just need to purchase one

I'm not feeling the black clip, but as long as they go with the uncoated one count me in for the m390 version.

I know that I have been critical of ZT in other threads, but this is looking pretty sweet. My 0561 might just be getting a baby brother when this launches.

More like they designed them to be blade stops from the beginning that could be backup thumb studs if really needed. I guess they got tired of everyone complaining so they just took that option away.

I tried to make this argument in a 0560 thread, and some jumped in with both feet, citing the 0550. Because I have been so accustomed to using my 0561 as a flipper, I am getting to like flipper deployed knives. I love the added protection that the flipper provides when using the knife in adverse/wet conditions. If the 0562 does in fact have a steel insert on the Ti lock, I am definitely down.

This knife is calling to me. But it's good that I have some time to think about it. This may sound strange, but I have a love/hate relationship with the KVT bearing system. I love how it opens, if the detent is strong enough. But I don't really like how it closes. My 0560 blade moves so freely that during closing, I often bump the blade and re-lock the knife. Probably just me. I also have some reservations about the new pocket clip on the 0562. It looks like it will ride very deep. Nice for stealth, but not so nice to get out of the pocket.
