Nice man! Is that a maxpedition pack, and what becker knife is that?

thats a Tactical Tailor 3 day pack. One main compartment (with neon orange signal panel), one smaller pocket and a map/misc pocket.

The knife is my trusty Becker BK7, the folder is my Emerson Super Commander (this knife is incredible in the woods) and the wee little yellow handled knife is a Bark River Trickle (mini?)

ayup. we went from Lynn Canyon/Ric Lake area to Norvan Falls. 14km round trip. :thumbup:

lots of new trail washouts past the (4km) Third Debris Chute mark.
 
now that i'm back from australia that sounds like a good place to go for a warm up hike

bulldust hole .. the road breaks up into this , when you hit it , if you look in your rearview mirros , you see nothing but dust ... its finer than talc , it gets into everything too

3 yr ago IIRC, I saw this left where it is now , but a complete car ( someone had allready stole the wheels tho ) with a note on the windscreen saying something like please dont wreck, flat battery , coming back for it .

Nice shots, Myal. Lots of open space, which I like a lot. I especially like those pictures with the trees along the road.

This is a shot of typical middle elevation Sierra forest, with a reasonably large (6-7' diameter) sugar pine thrown in for good measure. Taken on the rim above Tehipite Valley, Kings Canyon NP.
