the sky today, from Seymour Mtn, Vancouver BC. There was a massive dark cloud at one point over the mountain, while the rest of the city had puffy white clouds and blue sky:

I love this thread! :)

Porcupine- I've spent a fair amount of time in upper-lower penninsula MI (around Grayling and Traverse City) and thought it was beautiful. The UP puts it to shame! You guys never get your props, do you? ;)
 
Used my Mud Puppy to carve this spoon for cooking at our camp spot. It worked really well with it's comfortable handle and choil area for more precise cuts. The thin convex grind I put on it carves great. I brought it home to refine the shape, then sand it and give it some sort of finish.

moved on to the second location... a great sloppy swamp on private land.... found a great waller and will be back when i have more time to hunt but was really feeling out the land this trip.....
 
yup look at some of joezilla's pic in this thread... a canoe just works on a cherokee... grins... now i just needed someone to snap some pics of me as i blasted the mudhole on the way out from the second camp... managed to sling mud up on top of the canoe....
