Hey I'm at a four figure post count now. That means I've got to give away some of my possessions doesn't it?

Soup means I have to cook. I spent most of the last few days either sleeping or getting treated by Dr. Pepper and his 100 proof nurse.

Probably a cricket of some kind. Maybe a Freddy Kruger cricket, it haunts your dreams and kills you in your sleep but only if you're afraid of it.

I actually got a few d-rings with a cut in them, so I could bend them and put the ring permanently on the sheath and just leave it hang down when I didn't want the dangler on it. The problem I had was the 1" d-rings weren't big enough in height to put the drop loop through them when the ring was already on the sheath. That's when I found these ones with the screw-in pin on etsy with a google search. The regualr 1.25" d-rings work find, but I really like the removable pin ones, so I wanted to use them on the wider belt loops that I have I'm definitely going to try find some 1.25" ones and if I find them I'll let you know where to get them if they are available.

Looks like a square shackle.....most of the ones I've seen are "D" or "C" shaped. Those can be found at the Despot or at a marine supply place. Looking to find some rectangular ones right now - be helpful for some projects I've got brewing.

I'll have to do a bit more searching and I'll check out a few places on my days off this week when I'm near a Blows. The Despot is too far away for me to check out, but maybe I'll check their website. Thanks!
 
Oh yeah baby! Just ordered my Boony! Had to call KABAR to do it but f*** yeah its on the way. To NC. And then to me. Woot!

That thing looks like a grasshopper in mid molt WW. Cicadas have smaller rear legs. The ones here do anyway. But the important thing is, I HAVE A BUNDOK ON THE WAY! Yeah! Holy crap, I might be the only one in Australia that has one. Well that's what I'm going with..

Possible a cicada... Looks different than online photos but maybe its hatching..

At the creek fishing.. Forgot to bring a bucket for the keepers so it looks like I'm throwing Em all back again... Caught a few keepers already.

Feed 'em to that weird ass bug in the hopes that it won't eat your face. On second thought, I've seen pictures of your face. It's probably the only thing uglier that that bug. Just throw the fish back and don't worry about it.

Good. Maybe he'll chew some fat off that one guy that keeps trying to do knife reviews but can't swing the blade more than three times without stopping to catch his breath. What's that dude's name? I think he made a Crocodile Dundee reference a couple posts ago.

got my replacement phone today. everything went smoothly enough, although now all my pictures and videos and contacts are gone.... oh well
