I had an ex with this "problem"Just got my CRKT woods hawk today. If you are thinking about getting one I would say wait. Mine wasn't much better than the Cold Steel ones but at almost twice the price. The head had come off the handle at some point and there were gouge marks and a burr where the head and been forced on. Not very much of a burr but it was still there. To top it off the end was split from being chucked into the lathe a little too tight. And there was the very minor issue of excess finish on the butt of the handle. It looks like the handles are dipped in the finish and hung to dry. Makes sense, that would move things along pretty quick. But as a result there's milky white dribbles on the bottom. Not much of an issue really considering the chuck marks from the lathe.
It's also heavy. At least as heavy or maybe a little more than a CS pipe hawk. I like tomahawks to be fairly light, that's part of the appeal for me. I may just get a refund and forget the whole thing based just on the weight.
Giggity

And in case you're wondering, no the handles will not swap between the CRKT and the CS.

Well the one was definitely still a heck of a deal! Its hard to shoot 2 at once anyways. I believe I'm selling my Kahr CW9 to a guy I know. I shoot it well and its a good gun, but it just doesn't fit my shooting style anymore. I believe I'll be replacing it right away with a compact m&p or a glock 19
Different strokes for different strokes. I really like Glocks but have yet to find one that feels good in my hand.
That sucks!! I was planning on picking one up, but maybe I'll wait a while.
That sucks, I have been waiting for them since I got an email last year.. I have one on my wish list on the river place. Hopefully they clean it up, especially at that price. How well is the head made? like the fit and finish. The weight doesn't concern me as much as the lack of quality.

I loved that m&p. But I also fancy a Beretta 92fs (M9). That one is next in line for my gun purchases. I'll be able to swap the mags between it an my CX4.
Has anyone had experience with the Advantage Arms or Tactical Solutions .22 conversion kits for Glocks.
If so, what do you think about them?
