The UK set to ban "zombie" knives

Banning zombie knives should be a hate crime.

Zombies have been mistreated and stereotyped for too long; now we want to disarm them?

They disarm themselves, darn limbs falling off left and right. Maybe the Zombie Compassion League could sew them back on, or if pressed for time a round or two of duck tape.

I think that particular incident would be covered by the more general "clowns are creepy' theory. ;)

Its amazing what the UK has become. I mean at one time weren't they were the one European nation with enough guts to put up a decent fight against Hitler and Germany? At least enough to keep from being invaded?

One of these would make a very effective weapon..better than a common pocket knife IMO.

They need to get these on the ban list next..

All hilarities and useless zombie chopper idiocies aside, it seems the ban would include real actual swords owned by martial artists and collectors and such. What a pathetic shame. Brits might be forced to hurl their Excaliburs back to the Lady of the Lake.

Sword confiscation? They can have it when they pry it from my pasty, chip-eatin' hands!

It's too bad they don't have the guts to close the "kitchen knife loophole". ;)

Good stuff guys.

Sadly some people are actually on board for this. Read the top few comments.

Having had a knife pulled on me in a pub by a stranger I think these knife's must be banned completely. Has the world gone mad. Knife's are for Cowards that can't fight.

How was something like this ever approved for sale in the first place?

Oh and the cord round the handle is to stop finger and palm prints.

Once the zombies are all dead (again), the knives will no longer be necessary...
Just how is an honest zombie supposed to make a living?
:)

I was just talking to a group of people discussing about knives, and Europe became part of the topic. From what I heard, cetain parts of Europe have strict knife laws (such as in urban regions), where they do not allow knives with locks (other than slip joints) along with Blade sizes... which seems to be one of the reasons why blades under 3" seem to be popular in Europe. I also heard that certain areas allow hunters to own knives with locks but their hunting license can get voided if they are caught with one off season?

When these knives and such get banned, is it illegal to own them, or just carry them? I know in a lot of states there are restrictions, but I don't believe they extend to one's home (at least here they don't, but the only rule here is no autos over 3").

Knife regulations make no sense anywhere. Butterfly knives are banned a lot of places. Same with autos. But a good oho is openable in equal time, and speed of deployment *hardly* seems relevant unless it's for self defense! Silliness...

Glad I can carry my CS Trailmaster around with impunity:D

It's already illegal to carry them. To own them, I'm not sure, but what they're banning is their importation if my understanding is correct.

I'm very, very jealous of you. :grumpy:
