I realize you are not answering questions Jeff so I won't bother asking if these will ever be sold seperately without the knives, I just won't ask you that. :D that said, those look really sweet, excellent job :thumbup:
 
another big plus is the warranty on american made goods tends to be better.
more and more companies are going back to quality even if its means a little more cost.
edited to add that while there are more going back to quality its a small trickle compared to the flood that is leaving the country
Dells are now being produced in Mexico (desktops) Malayasia (laptops) and servers are still produced in Texas (for now)

Man, I just took delivery of an RC-4 Desert Tn/Grn Canvas to complement my RC-3 OD Grn/Orange G10.

Guess I'll be looking into an RC-5 :)

I didnt see it mentioned anywhere, so I thought I would ask. Is this going to be a full production item for Rat, or a limited run? Just wondering because after the RP knife purchase, funds are a bit tight..... but I don't want to miss out on it.

I think this would make an excellent introduction for my first RAT Cutlery experience

now got to see if my student funds will accomodate - this should ship overseas hey - with me paying the shipping cost?

EDIT: good point by MrCoffee though - hopely it will still be available and I don't miss out - this truely looks like an awesome piece of kit
 
Very cool!

I like how it can be used as is, or can be customized to your liking. The fact that you can choose between the RC-5 and RC-6 is a nice touch as well.
 
Just ordered my black kit with an RC-5!!!! Thanks Jeff and RAT!!! Such a deal for everything you get. Now my RC collection is complete! I can't wait.:D
 
That's pretty much the only thing that could make me regret picking up an RC-6 this summer. :p

You and me both. Hell, I got the 5, 6 & the Firekit at the same time. Can't justify another of the same knife........if only it was sold alone. :)

Hey, if it ends up not being available as a standalone I guess it's an excuse to actually save money for once!...or blow it on a new yixing teapot. I need to quit these expensive hobbies! Being in college sucks! :D
