There seem to be a lot of white bone fans and a lot of red soup bone fans. Is there such a thing as white soup bone that might satisfy both groups?

Sure there's white soup bone. To me it's kinda...raw. Like a dog's chew toy was turned into knife covers. Polished white bone on the other hand is beautiful.

Hey Darren, thank you for mocking everything up. I think the visualization is super helpful seeing what these would actually look like. I'm still in the ivory/white bone camp, and I wanted to ask - are you willing to mock up the white bone with a long pull? I really like the long pull with the fancy bolster on the blackwood and soup bone rendition, and I can't help but feel as if it would have a significant (I'm betting positive) impact on the presentation of the knife.

I don`t know which is more amazing, the fact that they have used all of those woods or the fact that you know about them using all of those woods and wrote it down in a forum post. Pretty impressive.
