I know some will not agree with me since the lines on the clip aren't as smooth as the lines of the 85 body and thus may "clash" a bit, but I Love the look of that knife. I bet that it some Fantastic chatoyance when in hand...

I bet I am not the only one who knows my postman's schedule and roughly when he hits my house. ...So my Monday is planned.
 
I love the look of a clip point 85, but it would probably look weird with an EO and I like the EO more than I prefer a clip point. :)

Here's my only 85, until some time next week. Still no tracking # for me but I have multiple scandis coming and they were last off the line, so not surprised.

Here is a cocobolo 2 blade that has been with me almost everyday since it was new in 2011. It was very light brown and stripey when it was new, now it looks almost like Ebony.
Also my tracking # shows picked up/ accepted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked through all of the authorized dealers listed on their site maybe 6 months ago and found a few new ones still floating around, but nothing I wanted. Just checked again and they are gone now. Definitely an illusive pattern.
 
So did mike end up selling all of the 85s? Pretty impressive if so. I never saw them show up with any on his website....was considering grabbing a Scandi.
 
I'm curious to see some photos of the Scandi/Sabre from those of you who get them. I still can't decide if I like it or not.

It doesn't have pearlesence, but it does almost glow. Coffeehouse acrylic is a nice one!

I keep checking over, and over, ... I'm guessing he did. I was hoping to grab a scandi too. It will be interesting to see different camera angles of the scandi and the opinion of those who have it in hand.
 
I want confirmation from those that get them in-hand; but I think that saber ground model is the sharpest GEC factory edge I have handled.

I'll be interested to hear from those who got the Saber ground knives as well. Sounds very promising, thanks for the re emergence of the 85's once again Mike~ :))
