Ive had a 2 blade on reserve for a while now, but this Scandi talk has had me curious so I just reserved a one blade in jigged antique yellow
Picture stolen from the internet, which is what made me inquire.I think it unlikely they would be Barehead as the 85 is a Candle-Tip/Bullet End type of Teardrop rather than the bulbous variety. Might be fragile on a large knfe, it works on the thinner small gents style Teardrops.
I could be famously wrong though....![]()
I posted this question in the Let's talk GEC thread but got no real response(which kind of shocked me).
On the GEC site they have polished stag listed under handle material for all versions of the upcoming 85s, but Mike's site has no mention of this. Do you think this was a typo on GEC's side, or could Mike possibly have another version up his sleeve?
I sure hope Mike does a run in polished stag.
They will be as pictured on the reserve page, except you can ignore the linerlock tab (no linerlocks this round). The polished stag was an afterthought as I had some cull stag slabs from previous releases that needed something done with it. They will probably just be snuck on to the website; but I have collected a few emails from interested parties that might get a couple seconds notice.
