The "Whatever" Thread

I like them both, but I like the brass filled a bit more. I am curious how they will age.
Taking patina into account was the only way I could decide, I think the greenish ring around the darkened brass would look nice.
 
There's a traditional folder using brass as a bolstser! Think its a ka bar. Anyway copper seems to patina black, green I think is when its left to rot. FYI having pulled a lot of brass pins from old knives brass can turn green to :)
 
Ha. Sorry. I honestly think its rare that either turn green but I'm new to copper as well :)

Not going to work in the shop on Friday. Connie is off work so we will be going to the range before I have to go to my night job.

I wish I had thought of it, but I should have had you hold on to that knife until after the show so you could display more work. I'm sorry that I didn't think of that until just now.
 
no worries, this way i can't lose it or sell it accidentally :)

edit: I'm working on getting my hiker ready for display as well.
 
Bored as all get out today. I hate slow days at work. Been day dreaming about different knives I want to add to my collection haha.
 
Gah, so mad at usps. I had two knives which were supposed to be delivered tomorrow. One was the Kershaw skyline Damascus, the other was my hk. They both left Minneapolis for the 2 hour voyage to my house at 3:57am. They both left on the same truck. Yet only the Kershaw got delivered today :(

Haha, it's all good. Outs sitting at my local post office, so I'll get it tomorrow. I just thought it was funny that it somehow missed today's delivery while the other made it. Lol. I'm just like a kid at Christmas waiting for this. Lol
