The "Whatever" Thread

Thanks mqqn. I agree completely about the laser equiped pistols. I have Crimson Trace lasers on a LCP and on my currect carry gun, a Kahr PM-9. I find I'm faster/more accurate using the sights, but it's nice to have the laser as a backup. Also, thank you gor sharing your range pictures. I'd love to hear more about your XD/M and the Delta sughted M&P.

I'd like to hear more about your LCP (Becky has been looking at them), as well as Andy's M&P. Always enjoy pictures!

Has anyone shot/handled the Walther ccp? I saw a few good reviews on it was thinking about checking it out.

I handled and dry-fired one a couple weeks ago - it is intriguing - a good trigger and small enough to conceal. No shooting experience with it, unfortunately.

The Ruger LCP was my 2nd carry gun, after deciding the S&W 642 was a little fat for pocket carry in khakis. Mine has been superb. I did a 300 round break in and have fired several hundred more during range visits (all with Winchester white box ball). The CT Laser Guard was easy to install and sight in and had held "zero" to date, including 3-4 years of pocket carry in in a DeSantis pocket holster. It's a handful to fire, or more accuratly it's not a handful. It's a bear to shoot. I found it to be accurate, within reason of what it is, but the abbreviated, narrow grip really accentuates the felt recoil. Not what I would consider a "beginners" gun, nor would I recommend it for "most" ladies. It's definatly one to rent and try before buying if Becky is on the fence. It sure is easy to carry though.

Retired last year when I bought a Kahr PM-9. I meant to detail clean it after I got comfortable with carrying the Kahr (appendix carry, by the way), but I've never got around to it.

Streamlight has released the TLR-6 for the Glock 42 and I have been itching to try one. My Glock has Ameriglo classic green front/yellow rear sights but a flashlight and laser could never hurt.

The one I rented a while back had the red trigger and larger sights, I think it was the enhanced version. It was too small for me, that's why I got the Sig.

First off RIP Snippy I never knew him but smoke sent out for the family.
Now on to the day it's been a fun morning so far me and my little helper have rehung the laundry room door to open out rather than open in and hit the front of the stack-able washer and dryer, replaced three doorknobs that haven't worked properly since we moved in and fixed the track on a closet door. I know the JK forums aren't a negative place but I can honestly say if I got the chance to punch the guy who owned the house before me in the neck it would not be a hard decision.:D

The guy was probably really trying his best with little knowledge and few tools to do a good thing, save some money, and make his wife happy

Failed on all counts - the poor sap. Oh well, as my Mother would tell you (well she certainly has told me :)) be happy you know how to do the work.

Yeah I know I really can't be angry I'm just one of those people that believes in doing something once and doing it right. For example there was a broken part in the end of the driveway. The previous owner mixed up some concrete (good so far) then proceeded to poor a giant lump on the damaged area and leave it to dry without smoothing it over at all. Just a giant mass of concrete. I got out the hammer and chisel and chiseled it away and then redid it.

The 'Ol Jeep has been doing some serious work these past couple of weeks!
That new winch with the synthetic line has been a life saver.
The jeep pulled every one of these logs out of the woods. And its only a 4-cylinder with 110hp.
This little guy is a true work horse! :D

Been getting inquiries and giving quotes, but no new orders. Looking around at other makers prices, I can`t believe mine are too high, or 7-8 weeks too long to wait for a handmade knife.
