People these days are too used to 'instant gratification'

If they cant have something right away, they lose interest and go on to the next available thing.

Have you ever noticed how people come and go around here? Some of what used to be "regulars" here have not posted in a long time. I guess interests change.

Its a shame when I refresh the page every 5 minutes waiting on a new conversation.

Yeah, ol' Cadillac87 hasn't stuck his head in here for a couple of weeks now.
 
Just a general statement, not singling anyone out. When you cancel your order with me, don't lie about it. If you decide to buy damn near the same knife from another maker on BF, that's fine, just don't lie to me about it. I do look at other maker's forums on occasion.
 
I don't know if I'm a regular yet or not but some days I have that feeling too like I am the only one on here. I do know that I think I've found the one sub-forum that I would like to spend more time in though.:D
 
Practicing, and I need alot of it, for my upcoming attempt to put scales on a couple of JK blanks. I wanted to start on knives that are inexpensive and won't hurt if I screw them up. I think it looks ok, not great, but ok.

I tend to prefer darker woods but I would throw some dollar bills at it. I'm in the same boat getting ready to do micarta handles on one of Condor's blade blanks. I didn't realize John sold his blanks also. I may have to screw up a few Condor's before I make my way up to one of John's knives.

Whatever happened to Sogetsu??? The gatherings have been way too injury free and I think my first aid game is suffering because of it.

The times they are a changin'!
 
I've been busier than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. I still haven't taken photos of my newest JK. Hopefully this will change in a couple weeks.
 
I'm still around also. Try to post every couple days but bladeforums is always so slow for me it pisses me off. Not sure why. The past couple days have seemed to be a bit better though.
