The "Whatever" Thread

I really like it, my wife drives it most of the time. We had a Grand Cherokee, we both like the Compass much better.

We have had a Jeep Patriot for 2 years and still think it's the best buy in today's auto's. We have the 2WD Automatic, it gets 29MPG hwy and I think it has more room than my 1999 Cherokee (which turned 200,000 miles last week).

Somehow I managed to delete my email contact list. I guess it's not a big problem, some of those contacts were pretty outdated!

Anyone doing anything fun over this holiday weekend? We're heading out to a flea market in a few minutes: http://www.hillsville.com/fmarket.htm It normally takes two full days of walking to see the flea market and that doesn't allow time to check out the miles of yard sales along the way.

No plans here, Connie starts work tomorrow at 4am, so I will be out in the shop around 3:30.

Lots of yard work on my end. My wifes sister is getting married in our back yard, under a giant old pecan tree next month.
Im trying to clean the woods up around the yard so it wont look so much like a jungle out there.
I see it as an excuse to break out any edged tool I have and 'go to town'! So to speak.

I recently picked up a couple of Council Tool Velvicut axes that im itching to put to use. Today is the day!

SCA (medieval reenactment group) armored combat tournament today - just recently started back up after a 10-year break.
had a lot of fun despite the heat.

I spent all day preparing for our fantasy football draft... Not really. I took the kids out for something to eat and played with them in the yard. Nice day.

No big plans for us. Either stay home and play or might taking the kids to Louisville to visit the Louisville Slugger Museum and Ky Science Center.

Hope you get to feeling better man.
Take it easy today. Last day before work tomorrow.

I aint doin a darn thing today!

Right now I'm sicker than a dog, fever, chills, and really sore throat.
A good friend of mine had the same symptoms Friday but was doing better this morning when I checked on him. Take care of yourself and best wishes to a speedy recovery.

Slow down and get some rest, there is no point in making yourself worse.

Relax a bit, have some tea with local organic honey and let your body recoup.
Feel better John, Best Wishes.

I decided not to work today, just sitting inside watching TV. Connie should be home from work in about an hour, she is bringing some soup. Hopefully I'll be back to work tomorrow.

Yup, definitely something going around. Been working on a cold myself the last couple days. A shot now and then for the cough works wonders.
