Yes sir! I can't gross over $1300 a month after I start Social Security.

yes/no?
only half of your earnings over $1310 will be deducted from your check. So if you make $2k in a given month, your sosec check only goes down by $345 for that month.
earnings count in the month you're paid, not the month you did the work.
if you're self employed, they count your net, not gross -- but if you report more than 45 hours of self-employment earnings per month, they can decide you're not really retired....

Sounds like maybe I should limit how many knives I make a month.

Anybody still wear cargo pants? I've got to go to my best friends moms wake tomorrow, and all I have are cargo pants I have not worn in years, or jeans, not sure what to do.

Sounds like an opportunity to buy a new pair of pants. And condolences to your friend.

Actually, what is appropriate attire depends on your friend and the the family. Cargo pants may be suitable for a wake. I've been where near funeral attire, like one step down from Sunday best, was the order or the day and I've been to wakes where I was out of place because I didn't have muddy boots and camo on. It depends on the situation.

I just really hate to spend money! My friend was my best man at my first wedding, and I was at his, and was my hunting partner for 25 years, until he moved away from our area, so we are pretty close. B JACKSON probably remembers him too.

Sorry for your friend's loss John.

You should probably swing by Target and pick up something a bit nicer.

Jeff

Guy had farm out on Bell road? The Road sort of cut his barnyard in 2 . We would shoot pigeons there. Joe leased his pond for duck hunting for a few years. Traded with a building contractor, he gave up his farm for another one 8 times larger out towards Dekalb plus got enough cash to boot to buy the biggest combine in the state! Had an Ithaca Ultra Featherweight model 37 20 Gauge
Dave Txxxxy was his name. Give him regards and sympathy's from me when you see him. I'm guessing his mother must have been rather old?
P.S. A nice pair of khaki's is in order, and don't wear them to grind knives!

Today is my grandson`s first day of college, makes me feel pretty darn old!
I hate to tell you how fast those few years at school will go by. I remember dropping my son off and how difficult it was to drive away as if it were last month. It was five years ago. Best of luck to him.
