what a great story Andy. real cool. i am happy you got to spend some time with someone you admired. always cool. thanks for sharing.
 
I've been pulling my jeans up all day, messing with my belt, just generally loosing my pants! Just realized I have 4 pocket knives sort of weighing me down! A large Case Trapper, a Sod Buster copy, and two SAKs. Now to decide which 1 or 2 is causing the problem and put them in the car!

When you carry that many knives you need a belt and suspenders!
 
Man, ive been pricing out putting a beefed up rear axle under my jeep and that sucker is going to cost a buttload of cash.
I paid $5,000 for the whole jeep and the new rear axle is going to cost $2,400 ! :eek::barf:
My dad said he would go in half with me, but even still, $1,200 is a whole lotta dough.
Looks like I know where some tax return money is going!

What`s a tax return?:confused:
 
I work for the government and you pay taxes to pay me then I pay taxes to support those who grow marijuana here who get cards for free food and pay for whiskey in cash........................

A man who works to support his family deserves a return. I know, my oldest graduated college this year and my youngest is in diapers. I know people who do as little as they can get by with, receive all types of handouts, then get a return that is 10-15 times what I get.
 
Yep, crazy how that works. We work our butts off just to get by, meanwhile the 'street walkers' get to eat, sleep and be clothed on our dime.
My step sister has 5 kids and just turned 30 years old. She gets every handout available. She sells her food stamp card every month for .50 cents on the dollar.
Then asks my dad for food money when she runs out of cash! :confused:

I have too much pride to be a professional beggar.
 
Hope everyone makes it through the stormy weekend okay. It looks like Joaquin has turned north and things won't be as bad as once thought. Locally we're still under warnings for heavy rain, flooding, and high winds. Stay safe my friends.
 
Sadly, I must say this outloud and in public... I cant place another order until the new year :(

There! I said it! Even if it was a whisper it still counts right?
Now that the universe has heard my plea maybe I can rest easy until January.
That was a hard thing to do, but it is for the best.

Now, I must collect myself and dry up these tears of sadness


 
This forum is getting boring, I've been trying to come up with new topics, but very few replies. I think it's time to take a break from it for awhile. I'll post pictures of knives that are ready to ship, but that's it.
