The "Whatever" Thread

FINALLY ! ! !
The rain on the weekends has stopped.
Yesterday was third weekend in a row it has rained all day here.
My property looks like a hurricane blew through and now I can finally get outside, do some work and enjoy the sunlight.

Mold remediation. I have worked for my dad in his construction business for the past 7 years, but recently his friend had the opportunity to start his own mold remediation company. Since the money just wasn't there anymore in construction we all decided to jump ship. I have enjoyed it so far, and it has some serious potential for a good career.

We are on our 3rd straight week of rain, too. Hopefully it will be settling down by Tuesday. I'm just ready to see the sun again.
 
Came home from my trip to find out somebody backed into the quarter panel of the Jeep, and took off. Been getting estimates all morning.
 
That sucks, John. I hate people like that.

I guess the "old man" nap wasn't such a bad idea. Funny, almost seems like this isn't our first rodeo little buckeroo.

I agree - pacing. Party enough to have fun - not so much you just pass out. The result of passing out is a wonderful picture like the one above. He's lucky we didn't get out permanent markers or something.
 
I was a little nervous the first time my son brought his friends from college in for a weekend because I had heard stories about them staying out all hours of the night going to parties. Turned out they did so by resting all evening then starting their evening when an old man like me was starting to wind down. When they started drinking the same time I did they were all ready for bed by the time I was. The biggest difference was how content they were with cheap liquor when I offered Patron and Knob Creek. They had no problem drinking my micro brews and imported beers though.
