The "Whatever" Thread

Most seeds are good for 5 years if kept cool and in the dark. They do need some air though as they are living. You can freeze them for up to 10 I have been told but never attempted it.

22 around here is a lot easier to find these days and legit priced also. Not near as good as before but not bad. Around 7 cents around

GOOD MORNIN' EVERYONE!

It's quiet in the bait and tackle shop this morning

Good Morning! It's a crystal clear 30F morning here in KY. While I can't say I haven't wasted a dawn, I can say that since our son was born (4.5 years ago) I can count on my fingers the number of dawns I haven't seen, at least in passing.

My little guy is going to be three in February so believe me I know that feeling. All the other people my age at work are single and for the most part still live at home. They're always asking me "why don't you just get more sleep".

Ive skipped a fair few dawns, hate to admit it, calll it youthful folley, follwed by elderly laziness, a live if the snooze button if you will

Bah, im up for the sunrise more sunrises then not and try to be produtive every minute im awake, tis the best i got :)

I have worn nothing but t-shirts and sweat pants for the last three days, and have slept until 10 A.M. every day. It has been glorious. Stayed up late watching movies. First time to have more than one day off in a row in over a year. Start a new and hopefully better job in the morning. No weekend work, at least. 2016 is going to kick ass!

Congrats on the new gig. Good luck.

Congrats on the new job. As for seeing the sunrise, unless I was sick, I've seen it everyday since I was 18 years old (44 years ago). At my old job I had to get up at 4am each day, now I get up at either 2:30 or 4 each day, depending on what time Connie starts work. As for weekends, the dogs are so used to getting up early that they will wake me up by 4, so no sleeping in.

For many years I was normally up at sunrise but recently I've enjoyed the quiet sounds coming from the house while snuggled up to my wife. I love seeing the sunrise but I'm realizing that it's okay to be lazy and lay in bed till 8:00 occasionally.

Heat treating today, which with my HT process gives me almost 7 hours to goof off. Might work on some new design ideas.

Hey, Young, think.of it this way, maybe when he gets a little older, maybe you can enjoy the sunrise with him, special time spent together. They grow up quick, my daughter is now in her first year of college. I am lucky that she is a great young lady and is independent. So look for those hidden and teachable moments, and treasure them. Just my older man still young kind of ideas. God bless.

Thanks for the advice and words of wisdom. I fail daily at appreciating all the moments I get with my children and wife, but I do make an effort to slow down, soak it in, and I thank God everyday for all of these opportunities to be with them.

I've found that the older I get the more I appreciate quiet time with my family. My older son will be 24 in a couple months. I don't regret giving up anything to spend time with him growing up or time I spend with him now. My baby is two today and I can't wait to get home and spend the evening with him and my wife.

Had a set back yesterday, broke my foot at work. Had to go to hospital and now I am in this leg splint until I can get an appointment to see a specialist. The things we take for granted like getting up to walk to another room, I'll be off the rest of this week so I will get some family time :)
