The "Whatever" Thread

Enjoy your dinner, Mr. K!

Brad - the one here in Peoria is so crowded it is hard to even get in!!

They do have great food though - we like going there but don't too often because it is usually a 45 min wait.

Today I drove Big Yellow up to Palatine with a Uhaul trailer to help Kirill pick up a sectional sleeper sofa from his parents house.

Kirill's mother and father put out a nice spread of traditional Russian soup - it was like a beefy vegetable soup with diced dill pickles and sour cream in it, served with slices of rye bread. It was very tasty! We also enjoyed some chicken and rice, another Russian staple. For desert we had homemade cherry pirozhki- like a yeasty scone with tart cherry filling - again, very tasty!!!

The traffic in the 'burbs was unusually light ,which was a godsend considering I had that trailer. We stopped at the Portillos on Dundee Rd in Arlington Heights to pick up some ribs and the requisite vanilla malt. Yum.

Got back home around 8pm to turn on the MNF game to watch and see if I can overcome Brad's monster running back!

Enjoying my holiday, I wish the same for all of my JK buddies!

Went to Texas Road House once, it was much to noisy for us. I might have enjoyed it were I younger perhaps.

The key is getting there early. Since we get up at 2:30, we have dinner early because we go to sleep early. As for loud, Connie is a southern girl, so she likes that country music, I've got to where I can tolerate it after 31 years together.

Boy, did I miss a lot in a couple of weeks!

Our internet has been down and Christmas kind of tookover any free time.

Looks like ill be reading through some threads for awhile!

looks worse than it was. just a nick. but, the constant water makes it look much worse. i was sharpening an already sharpish knife at a flatter angle (intentionally), but really didn't think about adjusting my "grip technique". like i said, whoops. :D

Looks like a nice fire. May have one myself if it isn't too windy out.
