Sorry I've been gone, had a lot to work on and just kind of got it my routine :( glad to be here, seems like a lot of new supporters a well which is nice to see, love that stretched bluegil a well, hate that I missed all that.

Today I got to visit with an old friend I hadn't seen since our high school daze(1974ish).
He came up from Oregon to see his mom who came up from Oklahoma to see his sister who lives north of me and he stopped by on his way back home since I'm not too far from I5.
It was great to catch up after not seeing him in 43 years.:cool:

Cleaning my shop today, doing lawn work tomorrow, and relaxing Wednesday. Class is Thursday and Friday.

Raining here today, so not too bummed to be at work. Our boy graduated from college on Saturday, and of course Mothers Day on Sunday, so no shop time over the weekend.

Im guilty of not posting in awhile. Just been super busy with work and home.

Im interested in all things "old timey" and this weekend is a really great local gathering of musicians.

Its called The Big Yam Potato ! Strange name, i know, but the music is fantastic. We always bring a big wagon with chairs, a blanket, cooler full of beverages and a picnic lunch.

The kids have a great time running around and playing and we get to relax and enjoy the festivities.

Heres a couple of songs from the guys that play.

I think I just saw a cleaver Junior sighting on that trail, nice! ;) Thanks for the pictures Myke, good to see you out and about

Congrats to your boy, Glenn!

heefage, that fiddle fest looks like a kick in the pants! I love going up to Natchez; so many beautiful sites and fun roads to drive! Last time I was up that way, I got to picnic at the Windsor Ruins in Rodney/Port Gibson by Alcorn State. Such an incredible place.

Congratulations on the big event, Glenn!! A proud day for certain!

Congrats Glenn, I know how proud you must feel.

Keep posting pics Myke, I enjoy each one.

Around here "old timey and music" means almost as much drinking as music and dancing ......I'm not sure all the alcohol is government taxed.

Been cooped up the last few days, had rotator cuff surgery on Thursday. Last few days have been a little rough. Doing much better today though. Right arm in a sling for two weeks but at least it doesn't hurt anymore.
