The "Whatever" Thread

Fish, I hope it works out for you and your wife. That is a tough thing to do nowadays, but it sure helps the relationship. Good luck!
Thanks, it was a decision we discussed at length and both agreed upon. Several years ago we were both without work and despite the lack of money had a great time doing the things we enjoyed together. She made the postal service offers with several options for days off occasionally but they refused to attempt to cooperate with her in any manner. I feel sorry for all the part-time USPS employee who have to work six days every week.

My bother in law works for the USPS, and he is ALWAYS working. Guy hardly has any free time.

Guess it beats looking for work, but not by much...

I finished Rebecca`s book today, a fantastic read that keeps you interested from chapter to chapter, with one heck of a surprise ending. Now I can`t wait until the next book in the series comes out in August!

I'll let her know you liked it, thanks for reading!

My liners came in. And, now that i have some time, i cannot find the wood i ordered for it. Dangit! I really need to get more organized. Time to rip my place apart and find those scales!

phew, hard day, but we sold all but 8 books ( a VERY good day for bokos sales at a festival if i do say so myself) onloy problem is we have to go back tomorrow or pay a fine for leaving early, argh :)

as if that wasn't enough, this was waiting for me when i got home!

a package form Glennbad form a TL-29 inquiry I sent him, unfortunately the imperial i sent him didn't work out, but he found a camillus and did this to it  complete with ebony scales, a shield and sheepfold blade!

Simply blown away!

Spent the afternoon with the girls, rollerblading and flying a kite.

The girls got their glasses this week.

The girls are rocking their new glasses. They look good, I'm sure they are getting used to them now.

still can't find 'em. curses! bruins are on now, and the beer is flowing. oh well. maybe tomorrow?
Slaker!!

thanks Myke. if i can find it, it will be desert ironwood with coyote brown liners and a black pinstripe. essentially, it is what i put on my VTH. this will make them a matched set (how cute).

I have the same problem too often and found the best way for me to find something is to look for something else. Good luck!

Not been on here much lately, a lot going on, seems I've missed a bunch of stuff.

Speaking of Mt. Mushroom Festival, of all the time I spend in the woods during spring and this year is the first time I found one of these

Only one in that area too, but man it was good. I see now why folks hunt for these things.

Here's a true story that maybe you'll find funny.
The other day we see this vanity license plate on a truck in front of us it says- D R P

I say look- Dr. P(ee) must be a urologist.
Wife (laughing says) I think that's their initials
Oh well, what do I know.

By the way, glennbad did an awesome job on that knife!!!!

ha, that or it was a pre-school style insult!

that certainly is a nice looking specimen to

speaking of morels and funny, someone was walking around the mushroom festival dressed in a morel custom, my daughter became convinced it was a ghost and spent two days chasing the poo harassed maskcot around telling them so, others felt that the costume resembled a much less child friendly part of the human anatomy

nice to see you around again KY
