The girls got out for a hike in McKinley Woods, with their guard dog Ashby, and the hiking sticks I made them.



 
Ashby looks like a great guard dog.

It was a beautiful day for a walk in the woods.

Went up to Starved Rock with some family yesterday. Pretty cool area.

I have a pork roast cooking for pulled pork sammiches and family coming out to ride ATVs and look for mushrooms. I think it is still too dry, but it looks like another great day to be in the woods.

Happy Easter! The kids and grandkids will be here this afternoon, planning on cooking out (fixed my grill yesterday), and relaxing.
 
Had a GREAT day! Cooked out, the kids hunted for Easter eggs, went to the park where the kids played in the playground, then we all played basketball. Best day in a long time!

Nice 60 degree day, so when Connie got home we walked the trail from our town to the next town, 6 miles round trip. Felt good to start our walks again.
 
We decided we could get by on just my income so Pam quit the USPS. She was considered a part-time employee but worked six days every week. The only Saturday she has had off over the past three years was when she took vacation. We now have time to walk in the evenings and it is great therapy. Hope you and Mrs. K had a great walk.
 
Fish, I hope it works out for you and your wife. That is a tough thing to do nowadays, but it sure helps the relationship. Good luck!
