Hey Jeff,

I was up in your neck of the woods this weekend.

Moved my brother into his new apartment in Ann Arbor (from Springfield, IL). Thought about getting in touch with you, but didn't have a whole lot of spare time.
 
Give me a call next time Cooper. We can at least catch up for a beer.

Finally got an email back from USN. To have my own makers forum there is $500 per year. I don`t think so!
 
That is a pretty sweet Rover Peter!

Took a BK9 to the calf point first. I was putting it away in the closet and didn't have the retainer snapped. Pretty messy, left a trail into the laundry room as I hobbled to get a rag. Totally my fault...stupid move!

Ouch,don't you hate when you do something like that?
The BK9 is a pretty heavy knife to be dropping point first into your calf, I hope it didn't do too much damage.
 
ouch, sorry to hear it Sean, I've drop a few knives before now in similar ways, always embarrassing, lucky haven't hurt myself to bad with it, though I have poked my foot a fair few times pretty well :(

Thanks for the well-wishes! I think I did manage to deflect it a bit as I also took a small slice to the pinky. Just glad it wasn't point first in the top of the foot or something. I now get why Dexter is so big on the plastic sheets!

I bet when you were a kid you ran with scissors! No more sharp objects for you!
 
Yikes ODF! Sounds like you got to practice some field dressing. Glad it wasn't too serious...
