The "Whatever" Thread

Yikes ODF! Sounds like you got to practice some field dressing. Glad it wasn't too serious...

It actually gave me an opportunity to try out the trauma kit I put together a few months back. Based on using it I now moved the Coban wrap into the same ziplock as the gauze pads. I had it with the Kerlix and gauze rolls. Seemed to make sense when I put it together but was an extra step in real use.

Still healing and I noticed some bruising around the wound. Not sure if that was from the impact of the BK9 or some sort of sub dermal hemorrhage.

I never miss winter, winter is my least favorite season by a long shot.

Not because of the cold so much since it doesn't ever really get that cold down here,
I just don't like the short and gloomy days that put me down and make me feel lethargic.

We had our fourth day in a row to top 90 degrees today, got up to 94, nice and sunny though!

Finally got an email back from USN. To have my own makers forum there is $500 per year. I don`t think so!

You honestly don't need a forum over there. Just make sure your active in a lot of the area's. they have a 30k plus membership and the folks are all very loyal to the makers their. no joke. I think you will do very well over there if you post a few posts a day and what not. You have a great product just needs to get into more folks hands and the USN is a great place to help with that.

I only purchased the $55 membership so I can sell there. I`ve been trying to post more often, to get some notice, so has Andy.

that's all you need. just make sure your posting your knives you finish up in the custom arena and what not. get your name out there over there. I will say a lot of them are folder guys there but they are extremely loyal to the makers who post over there.

Must be my lucky day. I was digging through one of my toolboxes from when I worked, and ran across an Old Timer 12OT, in very nice shape!

Blade show Day 1 went well -- had dinner at some bar/grill that served up a 1 pound chili bacon cheddar burger.
