The "Whatever" Thread

Yesterday was "Siblings Day" at Hanna`s clinic, which is a day out for the brothers and sisters of patients. Hayley went somewhere where they had rock climbing, zip lining, and other things to do, while we kept Hanna.

After a Scooby Doo marathon.

Just got back from Blade - great show once again.

My 75 year old father made the trip with me this year - we had a good time, great road trip!

Thanks for sharing, Andy.

I am glad you and your father had a good time.

Going to try and save up some scratch and go down next year. There is a bunch of people I want to meet.

I`m with Cooper, need to figure out a way to raise extra cash. Don`t think it would be much fun not being to buy anything. Maybe I`ll have some kind of a job before next year rolls around.

I had a suite with a kitchenette, pull out couch bed and huge bedroom - could easily fit three in a room and it was $138 a night (if there were three people in the room) -

I drive down each year, so your ride is taken care of if you can get to Peoria.

You have a year to save a couple hundred bucks so you can go next year.

I better see all of you in this thread. The more posts the better. I want this to be a good long thread.

Cool giveaway, Mack.

I am not in, but may use that thread as an excuse to post pics of my JK's if that is okay.

That wouldn't be too bad. Actually pretty reasonable. Thank you for the offer.

I am more worried about saving enough money to buy all the knives I will want.:D

BTW, seeing your torched oak SSS in Mack's thread makes me want to put that on my next JK...

Post all you want. Make it the most popular thread on Bladeforums. I'll decide if you're in or not.:D

rolled in a bit after 6 last night - there was a JK knife on the kitchen table waiting patiently. :)
Blade was a blast.
Driving home the last 100 miles was a downpour, and by the time I got unpacked and ate dinner all I wanted was sleep.

I sure wish they'd bring back Blade West in Portland OR.(only 3 hrs away )
I missed the last year in 09 (the year I joined BF & was just getting into high end knives) because I had spent all my spare money on the EX & didn't even know about Blade until it was too late.:(

I am glad you had fun at Blade. I can't imagine it could have been bad considering the folks you spent the show with.

Blade was freaking awesome. Wish I had seen some of you there. I spent most my time in the trough and drinking. We stayed up Saturday night till 0530 drinking with jerry busse. It was a great trip.

Very cool gaw Mack. I will be entering tonight
