The "Whatever" Thread

Peter, sorry to hear about your wife. I hope she gets well soon.

We kept Hanna overnight, and since she can`t go outside, today is baking day. So far, Hanna and Connie have made chocolate chip muffins, and blueberry muffins. Cookies are next.

Sounds like I picked the wrong day to stop by.:D

me and the boys went for a paddle/fishing today. we were heading to dicks cuz needed another paddle. while driving, the 501 that i just got from John slid off the roof (where i had it from before) and to the bottom of the windshield. we only had another mile, so i was like..."it's fine. it won't go anywhere." i could see it, and it looked pretty stable.

so, as you might imagine, i forgot about it when we got to the store, and i noticed on the highway it was gone. i was like, "oh no! i forgot about the knife." the kids chuckled but pitied me. :D

anyway, we got to the launch and voila! the buck 501!!!

btw...John, i really do like this one. it has actually kicked the farmer out of my pocket for a bit. i really like how it cuts.

Speaking of 501s,here's mine, gotten in a trade with Pete.
I wasn't trading for the 501 though,Pete just threw it in the box with Rebecca's new book.
He read where I had carried one back in the 70s & 80s and being the great guy he is he included it along with the book.
And it was made in the late 70s-80s too, just like I had way back when.

Thanks again Pete.

stopped at the shelter while running errands today - black dog has been officially adopted, now we just need him to tell us what his name really is. :D

Peter - best of luck to your wife, good that she got the needed treatment before it was a major emergency.

Well,I passed the interview & UA.
Skills assessment next Sat. at 6:30 AM.
I know the skills assessment will be a breeze, but damn...just shake my hand & say "you're hired" already.

:(
Easy assessment this morning, it seems I still know how to use a wrench, now I'm waiting for the phone call or email saying come on down!

Thanks guys, just think, I'll be helping make the best trucks in the world! WooHoo.

Well, so they say any way.....;)
