The "Whatever" Thread

That sounds great! Should be a nice compliment to your knife making business. Good luck!

Jeff

Sorry for the bronchitis, grats on the job.
At least I think congrats are in order, working for Mr. Jackson and all.;)

I'm still waiting to hear back from Boeing, but considering the amount of applicants, I think it'll be awhile, plus I'm under consideration for 3 different positions.
The bigger the company the slower the process.

Happy Monday everyone.

thanks, John, she's upset about having to ask so she left late, we just couldn't swing that kind of thing by ourselves right now.
Sorry I can't help out Pete, I've gotta save $104 for tabs on the truck.
At least the truck is new enough I don't have to get an emissions test anymore.

It appears that John will be marketing and care taking a large amount of fauna including Lumbricus terrestris.

sounds like a pretty good job to me, good luck with it, learning about tackle can't be all bad :)

A big thanks to everyone who donated to Rebecca, i appreciate it and so does she :)

No worries, man, appreciate the good wishes just as well, good luck with the truck, sorry for the bill

Working in a fishing tackle shop, 2-3 days a week. About 15 miles from home, but it looks like it will be a good place to work. B JACKSON will be my boss.

I am seriously jealous. My new addiction is working on vintage Penn reels. I'd be like a kid in a candy shop.

Keep me in mind for a tricked out USA Penn Senator 113HLW 4/0 Wide (shark surf reel), or maybe a 525 mag
. Don't see many of these in Illinois

I'll remember that. When I start getting serious I'll let you know.

Good luck with the PT job, John. Actually kinda sounds like fun!

I would take that job even if I was already working full time. I hang out in tackle shops enough on my own time. Congrats! It could also be a great networking opportunity. Buy local, like minded, outdoor folk and all....

Beard shaved off - check!
Hair buzzed off to 1/4" - check! (got to love my barber, a 72 year old ex Marine. The sign on his door says "Concealed Carry - Welcome and Appreciated!"
