Just finished a batch of candied bacon and Rifleman's bacon chili. they are going to be delicious tomorrow! damn these late nights. maybe I'll just have a few samples to hold me over till the morning![]()
That's the good thing about under spicing..you can always adjust to taste after the fact.:thumbup:...tell me about this Rifleman's bacon chili! got a pic? a recipe? i just made a batch of chili on Sunday for football day. i must have did the spice mix a bit different this time. i was disappointed how bland it was. but, add some jalapenos, cheese and sour cream...and it ain't so bad.

I have heard about these mythical creatures known as steelhead. There are some in the Great Northwest that swear they exist and some actually claim to have caught them. I don't believe a word of it. I've spent some very cold days on the river trying to find these creatures and swear that they do not exist.
