  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Theoretically Speaking...(maybe not?) Which Becker do you choose for Zombies??

One thing I'd consider is you definitely need one or two knives that are your killing knives and one that is your personal food prep/hygeine/etc blade for anything that you need to cut that you don't want to contaminate you (your food, cutting stitches, your hair, whatever). I don't know about ya'll but I wouldn't trust a quick wipe or even a 10 minute soak in bleach on a knife I just killed a zombie with to cut my sandwich.

I think my killing knives would be BK-9 or Patrol Machete for long range (I like that the 9 can stab if called upon to) and a BK-17 for close quarters, then a BK-15 for food prep/hygeine.

Just getting out of NYC will be challenging, but you can take a tug not just across the river, but all the way down the coast. Going slow, keep the coast line 500yds off to your right, don't stop until you hit an area you find inviting.

Getting out of NYC is definitely a challenge, my wife and I already discuss how we plan to do it. That's why I like the BK3 and Annihilator, those will be my keys to the kingdom. If I can't escape, at least I can break into some pretty safe areas until it's go time.

BK-4 for dispatching deads, with my BK7 for backup and general knife duties. A sharpened swedge or a Warrior edition machax would make stabbing a little easier, but I'm looking to crush, slash and sever. Don't want to worry about pulling a knife free from being wedged into a skull. I've got a full evacuation route and permanent, remote and self sustaining accommodations within a short boat trip, or a day or two's hike... It was used before the war as the safe haven for a high ranking Nazi official, and then served duty as a hotel, fishing camp and gambling den, and is now an out station for the Vamcouver yacht club. If you can guess hat I'm talking about, you're welcome to join me... Lol

Do explosives work on the undead? Just curious, I've made note of all of the armories within a 150 mile radius.

Fun Fact: If you have an arsenal/ ammo manufacturer near you they will have usually have a huge range to test fire ammo. Massive amounts of ammo. This is done my employees or contractors. They have to shoot X amount of ammo or "dispose" of it. Quite often they simply dig a hole with a dozer, set the ammo in there and just cover it back up. Many times pallets of sealed ammo. All sitting out there a couple of feet under the ground :(

So I am just wondering why not one person said anything about THE BRUTE!!! Him and the King at your side = no worries! And of course a silenced 22lr with 1000 plus rounds in a backpack. Easy caring and RUNNING. :D
