We went without cable for a couple years. But then it came down to me wanting faster internet and it was almost silly to get the internet plan without the cable option... I cant remember exactly but the fastest internet was something like 70 bucks a month and with the cable TV option its 84 a month. Im fine with just internet really. These days all you have to do is google what ever you want to watch and it pops up, And even with cable the kids still mostly use Netflix. The wife uses regular cable the most and thats only for a few shows a week. But she thinks its worth having those extra channels anyways... I disagree LOL

There's shows I'll miss, but I think the cost savings will be worth it. More beer money.

Yea im thinking not... I went to join the Air Force before i joined the Army and they looked at my fingernails, seen dirt, and told me to go next door to the Army.... :D J/K


Not really... I did try and go Air Force first... But they said i was too color blind for any of the jobs i was interested in. I had decent ASVAB scores, my GT score was 111 or 115, something like that... I remember they said it was high enough for almost any job i could want but after the eye test i was really limited in my choices... Even though my vision was 20/15.... I cant see colors very well....So i went next door to the Army, told them i was color blind, they looked at my scores and told me to pick a job. I tried to be a firefighter for the Army but they had no openings and said no one ever quits that job so i picked one that i though sounded cool.. It turned out to be pretty cool... There were never more than 5 of us at any location i was at with the same job, most the time i was with just 1 other person and stationed with Air Force. Even when i was stationed at Fort Bliss Texas i reported off post with civilian contractors. I would have retired from that MOS if i didnt get hurt overseas. It was pretty relaxed.

Glad to hear it all worked out.
It's funny the Air Force is the STRICTEST on it's regs for appearance.
Like absolutely rigid and strict on it to a point it's sad.
However it's just in my blood looking good I guess! :D

I do look spiffy in my blues though!
 
Cable/satellite is really only worth a darn if you spring for DVR. But if you can stand to wait a few months you can just watch your shows on netflix/hulu/dvd or whatever. It's a much better experience that way anyway. Only problem is everyone talking about walking dead and ruining it for you.

I understand your pain I was coming off a 12 hour and checked facebook right when I got home about to watch the recording of the finale and some one killed it for me.
Damn near had a brain aneurism.

Yea you guys do have quite a few inspections and stuff... I witnessed my share of those. I would come out my room and see the Air Force guys/girls all lined up for inspection and think to myself how happy i was to be color blind then LMAO

In Korea the Air Force had quite a few field simulations and stuff as well. At one point i was living with the Air Force security forces, them guys and girls were ALWAYS complaining. And they were the worse ones, it use to crack me up. Id ask them if they recruited the SFs from prison systems or what LOL

They're always complaining because they are glorified gate guards!
They do a lot of convoy runs and such but it's still their basic job.
Us Cybers (3DXXX) only complain about having impossible deadlines and terrible conditions to do shit in.

And then there's this, I can't get to ESPN fix it NOW, not oh hey thanks for keeping the internet up for 264 days without interruption in bitter cold or sand, good job.

But hey a lot of people everywhere take advantage of us techies!

I have never seen one in person so i dont know... But the bag i seen on the bay says blackhawk right on it... A quick google search did not return anything making me believe its the same bag, but again i dont know for certain.

BK16 FPR limited sabre grind...like a mini bk2. i had to part with mine... still something i am not happy about but at the time i had to do it.

I still see no reasons for it to be 300 dollars, 200 maybe if you are accidentally drunk buying.

I'm thinking about my next Becker purchase for next month, god this is going to get addicting.
BK2 with wood handles and a patina is just making my wallet quiver.

No. It's a copy. I heard they aren't all that bad of a bag but it's not the real thing. Eagle Industries made the real one.

Yea that guy is smoking crack. For $199, you can still buy a set of all three from the dealer. I bought the last first production 16 that was on flea bay for $74 like 2 months ago so that guy is gonna be sitting on that for a while at that price.

oh dont get me wrong you are completely right. even 200 is too much for that. i sold mine for maybe a few dollars more than i bought it for. i could never charge that much and be ok with it.
