in the following picture , when the blade is deployed, the lock bar raises, and that makes a chance for the the safe button to insert into the gap of the tie-bar

Like I said before, I don't think that knife is a Willumsen Camp W-23!

This is a Camp W-23:

I don't know what this knife is, but it looks totally different from a Camp W-23:

Just speculation here... could that "arscultri" site be selling a stonewashed Chinese "Venom" knife claiming it's a genuine Willumsen? :D

Because the edge grinds look... kinda... crappy and uneven!

The knife the op posted is I believe a copy of the willumsen knife. The blade on the willumsen from the dealers site has some significant machining differences. We have to remember that mikkel is a custom maker and he makes one offs. He very well may have made the knife as a W-23 prototype and later changed the design. Similar to how there are many variations on the blade grind that will come on a hinderer. As for the sharpening and blade grind on the real willumsen its really not surprising. Some of the absolute worst edges ive EVER had have been on handmade customs. And mikkels work has always been a little "raw".

No blade play happens on the Evolution due to the width of the lock bar even when the stop bar is temporary removed.

Beside that , parts of the thumb studs are embeded into the handle , which makes a third insurance to avoid blade play.
A solid bar made of AUS6A with a diameter of 5mm is in the middle of the thumb studs , through the blade.

The "S" structure around point F and point G gives the lock bar another fulcrum while bearing force from point H.

When the force comes from the direction of A or B at the tail of the handle ,the "S" structure prevents the lock bar from moving up and down.

The "Ω" structures around point D and point E are for dispersing stress while abusing the knife.

The logo in the red circle is a chinese dragon , which was designed by ancient chinese of the Han dynasty.

Han
Imperial dynasty that ruled China (most of the time) from 206 BC to 221 and expanded its boundaries and developed its bureaucracy

Nowadays most of the chinese people call their nationality with the word "Han" ,including me.

The dragon logo only appears on the limited edition.

Very interesting. A good knife is a good knife to me, no matter who makes it. So we are getting schooled on some Chinese culture, technology and competitiveness. Love it.

By that I hope you mean that we wouldn't be able to strip the threads off the screws, not that our screwdriver will end up like that if we go anywhere near the knife with one.
