This Weeks Video

Awesome video this week! I want the shirt that Andy is wearing. Well, not that exact one but one like it. :D I really dig Dylan's comedy relief as well.

What?!?! No dragons, hot chicks or sword fighting?!?! Boring! May I suggest you get add in some gender diversity (ie hot chicks) and let a few of your employees fight to the death with Fiddleback Machetes. If you do that, I guarantee that your video will go viral!

Kidding aside, I think you are doing great.

Great videos, Andy! You're an easy character to connect with. You're a lot like Dale Jr, if your familiar with NASCAR at all. He comes across as genuine on camera because he is a genuine guy, people eat that shit up! You're a guy that people want to sit down and have a beer with. Looking forward to more!

After watching today's video, some of the content sunk in as time went on. Just wanted to say that your reason for coming up with spalting is a great example of work smarter not harder - with definite benefits of lower costs and aesthetics. Good question presented there. Overall, I like the Q&A part and thought they were all interesting.

I found the outtakes from last week too and was cracking up. Thanks for clarifying NOT to drink the wax!

Great video Andy and crew... great content, funny and approachable... keep 'em coming!

Thanks! Yea, don't drink that wax. Its not very tasty. LOL. I'm glad you liked it and the explanation of spalting.

I know of Dale Earnhardt. We were fans of his father and attended the races back when he was around. Haven't watched it in a while though.

Excellent video again  thanks for answering my question Andy.

You got it bud. Thanks for asking a question!

excellent video guys, like how you patched together the clips with different angles, and great questions from everyone. I particularly like the bit about how the spalting came about. Didn't realize it was out of being cost conscious, yet, out of it came creativity and something very unique and attractive.

Video #2 was awesome! I like how it moved along several subjects and touched on a few things. The Cajun talk was hilarious and now I'm really dying to go to Blade.

Thanks Andy and crew!

Question: How do you shape the handles with a hand file? (Always wondered about that one) :)

Thanks for answering my questions! Now how do I keep the knife from catching the belt and embedding in my heart or femoral artery :)

In all seriousness, keep up the good work.

Putting together the show for this week. Any questions need to be asked soon or they'll be on next weeks edition.

Andy what about something simple like "what is your favorite model and why?" I know it's not restricted to one specific model but do you have a go-to? That might be interesting to new customers as they try to decide a new Fiddleback purchase.

When you started making knives, the Nessmuk was one of your first models and today there are several variations of it in the lineup. What drew you to this pattern specifically, and to focusing on bushcrafting blades in general?

I got one:
How did you come up with the bullseye lanyard hole design and why do you only use black and natural as a color for it?

Thats actually two questions, sorry :D. Thank you very much!

David assures me that we can now do voice over hi res pics of the knives. This is new ability for us, and previously this was the reason I didn't do that. Even last weeks menton of Rustic Wrapped Fiddlebacks weren't able to showcase them properly. We've got it figured out now and will get this section into the videos this week.

Good question. I'll address that one today.
