This Years Holiday Tins

Those of you that have yours are they all 112-1. After I left the store and got all the way home I thought that I remembered seeing a 112-4 as I was deciding which of the ones I thought to be "best"...Preston

112 (sideways) T...
not 1,2,3 or 4?

I am confused - in the close up of TLC's pic it is 112 T (sideways)

Thanks Trax I thought I missed something! I guess you type alot faster than me :D

I checked a few days ago and they weren't out yet here at the Galveston, TX store. I checked again today on the way home from work and they were out. The Galveston Biker Rally starts today and I was afraid the 100,000 bikers expected in town would scarf'm all up.

If you look at TLC's pics on pg 3, his tang looks like a "-1"... (but it's a T on its side)... ;)

I don't have a clue what the "-4" might be...

Your probably right Trax...it's a T on it's side...the proportions of the stem of the T and the top of it are distorted by the stamping/rolling and my old eyes:eek: :D . When I was looking at others it seemed that the tang/date stamp could have been something else(a 4).

Now that I've got the knife out of the clampack it is in fact as you say...sorry all:foot:. Preston

Mongo wants two of those. One for EDC and one for my time capsule.
Oh...that's right...I can't do that until the buy/sell/trade/want gig is up.
Never mind.

There's no Wal-Mart in your area??? I can't believe that...there's one on every intersection here...

There are two in my 'hood. And one down in the next town. None of the three carry any knives 'cept the Coleman type stuff for fishing and the scout type stuff hanging on the pegs.

Went on my bi-annual visit to wally world last night on the hunt for the new collector's tin. No tins out yet but I did see a chick get hit by a car! Scooped her up and dropped her on the pavement at about 15 mph. I jumped out of my truck to help her and she jumped right up and took off like nothing happened. I bet she's got a sore hind end today!!

Wow...that's a bummer about the chick. But I guess she's relatively ok.
Cool avatar :D

TLC,

You going to the Mt. Vernon show this weekend, or do I even need to ask that.:)

Tom

You are to funny! I'll be there early Saturday, gonna crash at my girlfriends in DuQoin Friday night so I can be there early.

I am REALLY in the mood to find a new 110, I haven't bought one in awhile, bone or stag maybe!

The closest Cracker Barrel is just under 500 miles from me, so I'm thinking of going to Applebees' this weekend. That's what I'm doing...

The Wal-Mart in Carbondale, Illinois has both gift sets, as well as a third special Buck package deal for XMASS, it's a 373 Trio and a 375 Duce blister packed together for $20.00.

Checked my Wally World here in Lockport, NY today [Friday]; still no displays, and no holiday tins...

But I found out who to ask: the stockboy! Yes, forget about the Sporting Goods Manager, or the clerk at the register - they don't know...but the stockboy does! If it's in the store, he'll know it long before anyone else!;)

But the real secret is - have your daughter wear her cheerleader uniform, and look nice and act stupid (not hard to do), and sweet talk the ginkiest stockboy there to let you know when they come in!!! (It helps if they know each other from school). :D

Of course, the bottleneck here is...getting any information out of the daughter...

As the father of two girls, I can vouch for that. I was never informed about a lot of what was going on until after they turned 30. :o The irony for them however, and the fun for me, is getting the opportunity of watching a little pay back as the grandkids grow up. :D

And as a husband married to a girl for 21 years, I am STILL waiting for the time when I will be informed about a lot of what is going on!!! :D :D

Yep, I'm married, and I usually get informed right before or right after it happens:D
Swung by Walmart and picked up a 112. Lockup is tight, great deal for $25. I've picked up 3 112s in the past week, I'm still unsure if I'm collecting 112s:rolleyes:
