Thoughts about nutnfancy and cutlerly lover

Nothing against Nut 'n Jeff, but I prefer MrDagon007's reviews. His vids open up a wider world of knife collecting and he has a great focus on classy EDC blades.

Although something about the timbre of Dagon's voice is like verbal Ambien. I don't mean this as a knock against their quality. But if I'm having trouble sleeping, one or two of his vids knock me the hell out.

I like all three and the bluntruth4u guy too. We are all knife guys after all let's talk about 'em and enjoy our little obsessions together.

What's sheeple?

Pathetic, mindless, masses that can't or refuse to think for themselves. Often having a hoplophobic reaction to anything with a cutting edge. These are the type who think a SAK is a weapon just because it features a blade.

You forgot that those same Sheeples will have and use large kitchen knives and not even think twice about those and could even have a pair of huge scissors on their desk but will cringe at the sight of a 2" folding knife....

I like his videos and I think he knows a lot about gear, but I am pretty sure he is in the National Guard, not that that is a bad thing, but he doesn't seem like he has deployed or I think a lot of views on gear would probably be a bit different.... As far as his "law enforcement" job, I am assuming that he on his local reserve department, so I would assume that he has limit law enforcement experience either..

cutlerylover seems like a cool guy to BS with at work.

I like cajunblaze :D just the way he talks "cordbord boxes" lol

Does anyone know what happened to BLUNTTRUTH4U? I'm sure he was a member here.

Quite a while ago he posted on his youtube channel:

SORRY, GUYS - I'M GOING AWAY FOR A LONG TIME. CAN'T EXPLAIN MORE.
I'LL TRY TO LOG-IN AND ANSWER COMMENTS WHEN I CAN.
I'LL BE BACK WITH VIDS SOMEDAY (AND THE 1000 SUB CONTEST).

Nutnfancy does some pretty decent reviews, he seems very gear oriented. I prefer skills videos or at least a mix of the two.

Can’t stand Nutinfancy anymore. He has become a legend in his own mind.
The more I watched and listened to him, the more skeptical I became of his knowledge and experience. As far as his Military/LEO experience goes, I suspect he may be a reservist who moonlights as a security guard.

I like Cutlerylover. He’s still pretty real. Didn’t he start the whole “unboxing” thing? Those are great!

Bluntruth has left the building? Gee I hope it’s not a legal issue or something like that. I like his videos.

I wish more reviewers would emulate “Bob” from Knivestown.
He doesn’t talk too much and he actually shows us the knife in detail, and all the features. Many reviewers nervously sit there flicking the knife open and closed over and over while yammering on. Yeah, we get it already. Just show us the knife in detail.

I was saving that part for anyone who disagreed with me.

But you are 100% correct.

:):):):):)i am going totally off the wall but really didnt know where to post this at but i was just wondering what this knife comunity thinks of nutnfancy and cutlerly lover the to biggest knife reviewers on youtube exscuse my spelling:):):):):)

I really like both of their videos. nutnfancy's "run and gun" videos are a little unrealistic but they're still fun to watch.

Prolly Natl. Guard and Auxiliary Police Volunteer. Not that there's anything at all wrong with that. Just don't keep "playing the role." It sure doesn't stop me from watching his table top reviews.

I watch cutlerylover every now and again he is usually showing stuff people can afford which is nice. I mean unless going custom I have a hard time plunking down more than 2 bills for a knife and even then I think really hard about it. 50-100 and most people can spring for something if its pretty great.

I guess my views are kind of odd as I have thousands of dollars worth of highend kitchen knives and only a small portion of my knife money is spent on pocketknives and fixed blades

to each their own.....besides if you don't like their videos make some of your own!

That is odd darkmoto. I didn't think you could spend more than $50 to $75 on a set of kitchen knives? You must dig cooking and that stuff.

Heck that guy on TV sells about 150 kitchen knives, cleavers filet knives - you name it - all for $49.95 (just guessing?) with a lifetime guarantee too!

I prefer nutnfancy. The guy has a lot of experience in weapons and outdoor recreation and it shows. I guess being a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force will do that for a fella.

If he was full time regular duty military, he wouldn't have time to make his endless videos, funny how he never shares his experiences in the military.

Incorrect. It's not like military folks work 24/7.

There's also a video from last year where he was overseas (looked like Iraq). He and Buggetnuster both are military and are the real deal. Nutn has been in the military for 19 yrs.

Where'd you get that info from Nilloc? Reservist or active duty?

Not sure if he is active or a reserve. And I made a mistake, it's Air Force, not Army.

He mentions in one of his vids about being a Lt. Colonel. I can't remember which one, but it's one I have that I saved in my subscriber page on youtube. I wanna say it's one of the videos he did with that "Luv" guy, where he had him and Mrs. Nutnfancy and the kids all on and doing an interview.

I'll go through and see if I can find it.

Edited to add:

Still looking for the vid where he says he's a Lt. Colonel. I think he may have deleted it. The link here has people talking about his military status. And in the first post, the guy has a link to a video where Nutnfancy says what he does, but it was pulled down:
