This Marbles Workman Series Trapper cost under $7 about 2.5 years ago. Fun and functional! I'm a spearpoint fan, and the pile side of the blade also has a ruler. Both flathead and Philips inline screwdrivers, bottle opener, wire stripper, bail. G-10 handles, and who can resist an arrow shield?

I’m carrying this Frost Cutlery Whittler today. This one is a very good copy of a Case 6380 Whittler. It was made in the early years when Frost was contracting a lot of their knives in Seki Japan. Most all were surgical steel (SS) and very well made. After Japan they switched to Pakistan and that’s when I stopped my occasional purchase of Frost Cutlery branded knives. These covers I believe were called Frost Wood! Laminated wood and fairly attractive. I would call this one thrifty because I believe I paid around $12 for it when it was new.

Unfortunately, I've dedicated the next month and a half to carrying a GEC #76, so I forgot to pair it with a thrifty knife. I'll try to remember next week.
