In all seriousness. I do believe there is a very real chance. Probably more than one in 10. Of a conflict that involves extended power outages and lack of access to services. This is why I have accumulated the generators and diesel fuel and food reserves. Because I get angry when I'm hungry and I hate to not have air conditioning

Remember the colonial pipeline hack. That wasn't even an act of war it was just a ransom group

There is a very real chance, within the next few years, that some of you are going to need to go days, weeks, possibly even months, without power, food, or possibly even water.

Well, even in the context of incoming shells, drones, and all that kind of stuff, everything is still more or less available, just more expensive.

For example, I also have a small but solid stock of everything you mentioned — generators and all that. and I've never regretted it even once.

Sudden price shocks, like EXTREME price increases in certain situations, are a pretty likely scenario.

Actually, I'm a bit surprised that even when all sorts of crazy happens — like genuinely dangerous stuff — everything still more or less continues to function.

A little late to the party, but I immediately noticed there were no even numbers, then looking closer, yep, they're definitely prime numbers. Not random. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I joined Bladeforums today because it seems to be the only way a person can pick up Carothers knives. I've been reading a bunch of FAQs here in the sub, and my understanding is that at 3PM EST tomorrow, there will be a new thread posted in the CPK sub and the people that post in it during the first minute have a chance to match the random numbers. Am I getting that right?

All I need to do is refresh in the CPK sub until a new post comes up, then enter it and post...what?

Sorry for the noob questions. This is a little bit confusing.

Most folks just post a single letter to hit submit as fast as possible, then go back and edit the post to what they want, if they’re lucky enough to earn a spot.
