Too big, too strong, too hard...

Time to make a few more piggy banks so I know I have money for all these when they come out! I don't wanna chance missing these!

Is the center piece made of ti I'm wondering?

Has it been confirmed yet if this is going to be regular production? I know some people are already beating down the doors of their suppliers so I wasn't sure.

I am pretty sure Thomas said it was going to be limited edition. Somebody was complaining about it already.

Did he specifically say that? And woah, woah, woah. Im not complaining, im.......... prematurely grieving for my future lack of possession

(but secretly wishing I can pull some money outta my a$$ to get this thing)

No one was actually complaining. Someone said they hoped it wasnt a limited production. Then someone asked what is wrong with limited productions. Then someone (Me) explained why some of us dont like them as much as standard runs.

Are pre-orders being taken already?

No there isnt even a model number yet. Im sure pre orders may take place after its announced at Blade and dealers can place their orders.

So the show is a month away and I wanted to give you an update of what's up for us this year.

We have quite a bit of work to do prior to the show, and a few final decisions on details to work out, but as of today we're looking at showing 3 new ZT's and 3 new Kershaw pieces.

The Kershaw line-up will consist of a couple of machete styled fixed blades to go along with a larger version of the soon to be released 1555TI Hinderer.

The ZT line-up will have 3 folders debuting. 1 will be an LE 0560, one will be a collaboration, and one is an in-house design.

I've mentioned in the past that we wouldn't be showing knives until they were ready to go, and while this is a goal of ours, the proto's we're showing at Blade will not be available for immediate delivery. As far as the ETA's, we hope to have a schedule put together, and be able to share that with everyone in the near future.

As to the details of the products, as much as I'd like to share them with you along with the images I just took, it seems to be best to wait to unveil at the show.

Jhyde: Yes you are correct, Thomas just implied it might be LE; and we all know how tricky his implications are.
The 056X will be LE, but the others might be added to the full time line up, I don't think its for sure yet.

I hope it gets added to next years line up, so its not just a limited run.

So unless this is the in house design (which I doubt), it is still un-mentioned or any pro to photos leaked. Hmm. . .

A bit risky posting photos of the knife, Microtech could be snooping for "their" next design.

This weeks pic...

Wow, really loving the handle texture, very Buckminster Fuller-esque.
Kind of reminds me of this -

Also really like the way the lanyard hole is integrated into the backspacer and handle slabs.

This had my brain working overtime. That's mythbusters right?

Definitely a Mythbusters mantra, but it is a paraphrasing of a rule that Edwin Land (Polaroid) said they didn't teach at Harvard. "if anything is worth doing, it's worth doing to excess."

How did this get to page 2?

I guess the 0560 CB CF blew up in its place. We need some new secrets (or pics) released about this bad boy.

I really don't know if I should post it but the picture of this one and the inhouse model (not the 560 composite blade carbon fiber) surfaced on Ukrainian knife forum. I am not posting link untill Thomas W says it is OK

What that's crazy, how does the corporate espionage stretch all the way over there?

Well if you don't post pics at least tell us a little about the in house design. It's been kept secret as far as I know.
