Toohr #3 knife sharpener

I designed these parts for Gritomatic, so when they start selling Toohr sharpeners in future, they will have these parts available. Perhaps if you ask them nicely and place another order, then they can sell you these parts. Contact them via this link:

Hey, I was wondering what should say for them to look up the order for the parts? Do they know you? I am trying to contact them so I can reorder the parts. And, what is the extension bottom part for again. I notice that you made a piece to make the piece taller. Thanks

1 - Feet (Or alternatively an Extension Spacer) to make it slightly higher so the rotating bar can actually rotate without needing to hang over the side of a table.
4 - Leading Edge Magnetic Platform for Toohr #3 (Same platform will be available for the TSProf K03 and Kadet)

The spacer is so that the clamp bar can rotate without having to use feet to raise the sharpener up. Without doing so the clamp bar will hit the table when rotating unless you have it hanging over the edge as was mentioned earlier.

Yes, they know me, I'm the designer for upgrades and mods for all of their sharpening systems. Tell them I mentioned these parts and ask if they can sell you a set.

I also designed a Tsprof K03 parking hook with a sleeve I made so it works on the TooHR, and some extension tubes for different lengths of stones too if you want those in addition to what B Bdtry mentioned above.

Thanks, I just sent them a message.

As requested by scottc3 scottc3 , I designed an adapter for the Hapstone V8 / M3 / Scissors / Chisel module (any of those modules work with this adapter) to attach to the TooHR system.

Pics below are of the Hapstone V8 magnetic platform bolted onto my TooHR with the adapter I designed.

Since I am left handed I switched around the side for the parking attachment and the upright. Unfortunately this means it doesn't work very well for me and I didn't really like how high you needed to move the arm so I modified it a bit. I drilled a hole and wrapped some wire from a metal clothes hanger around it to form a hook. This leaves it very easy to put in the park position and you can easily adjust the height to be even or lifted up some when the arm is parked by bending the wire a bit.

Creative thinking, i like it. With a bit of thought most issues can be overcome.

Update: cleared browser cookies and back down to $106.... Ordering!
The silver version would have been ~$30 cheaper than than /item/33016335854.html

It seems like you may not have been logged in in the first picture and were given the "normal" price, in the second picture you are logged in with a new account and got the same "new user" discount I did. Brought the silver version to ~$72 USD.

I ordered the silver at $106, the red was $111

First time I used the 'Facebook' login. Price was $150

Logged out, logged back in with a registered name/password from previously, price was $150

Stayed logged in and cleared cookies, price was $106

Sounds like their pricing is weirder than Amazons at times then.

Hey man, I just got my sharpener. There is piece missing for when you connect the rod into the sharpening abrasive piece with red ball. The rod keeps falling out, have any suggestions.
Thanks

Since you didn't post a picture I am guessing that would be a set screw or a grub screw, whichever you prefer to call it. Not sure on the pitch, but it is a 4mm hex key if memory serves
