At least I exposed you for the thief you are, if that keeps my friends from getting burned by you my small loss was worth it. As for that Buck being a collectors piece, there were well over a 1000 produced, I was getting it as a gift for one of my Harley riding friends. All this did was make me have to do a bit more Xmas shopping.
 
I bet you ganjakid posts some excuse not to take the polygraph test. Personally, if I were innocent, I'd jump at the chance, as you said, always wanted to be on one of those things!
 
I would like to chime in, and say that when I have done business with Jake, I Would get what he said he is sending. And if I was a Soldier in some god forsaken place, he is one of the forumites I would want on my side. Jake **** happens man and it sucks being burned,:mad:
but you know the old saying **** me over once shame on you **** me over twice shame on me. I can bet that there wont be a second time.

Uhh I think I will stick with what I know. If Jake said he did not get the knife, you can bet you bohunkus all day long that the bastid did not get it and by default it was the responsibility of gangakid to get it to him. End of story.

Now all that has to be done is to add a happy ending. So do it :D.
 
Hate to hear about you getting the shaft Jake. I think the little bastard outta be prosecuted for fraud, or sent to stay with VG for a couple of weeks.
 
Well, don't wait around for this thieving POS to take a polygraph, he won't.
Jake, your word is solid around here. As a service to BF members, you should bring this back up about every 2 weeks so ganjagangrene doesn't burn anyone else.
 
Seems funny to me that only one of these persons actually completed the trade by sending their knife. Was it to be "on approval" before gangakid sent his knife? Or was he hedging at that time?
 
As one of the Moderators at this Forum, I generally don't chime in, but...Damn, I think that ganjakid needs to stop smokin' that Ganja-weed, pull his head outta his ass, grow-up, and do what's right. He needs to either send the knife in question to Jake, or send Jake whatever money the knife is worth (according to Jake).
 
Chinook, when I asked for a tracking number for his shipment it went unanswered, I didn't hear back from him until he stated he didn't want the trade any longer. So much for trusting a new trader with no GB&U feedback...Dann, I had traded for that knife, I just quoted the price from the site I was told the knife came from by the guy I traded for it.

I am sorry to here about the bad trade. Most of us feel our reputation is worth a quite a bit more than the $75 involved in your swap. I guess Ganjakid's reputation sold cheap.

I did a trade with Jake not too long ago, and I can say that Jake is honest and delivers. When Jake says he did not receive his knife back, I believe him.

Ganjakid, your credibility is not holding up too well.

Do the right thing and send Jake his knife or reimburse him.
 
It would be appreciated if the moderators could let us know if gk tries to change his screen name or rejoin with another.
 
Jake post this clowns name and address. I am sure alot of us would like to send him a few things...I wonder what else he might like :)
 
It's pretty obvious to me that something was wrong with this deal right from the get go. Why did Ganjakid never send his knife? He has never explained why the original knife he traded wqas never delivered to Jake. Strange how he never addressed that issue. I think I will keep an eye out for this fella on Knifeforums as well. If he is blackballed here he will probably turn up there at some point. That is if he is not on there already.

As I said in my offer. I will pay the full boat. The cost of Jake's knife, the Polygraph. Your Time to take the test, Your choice of ANY Certified person to administer and I will even have you driven both ways by LIMO.
Why? Because I am of the FIRM belief, INNOCENT folks would JUMP at this opportunity. As you have completely DISREGARED my post, and by your silence, REFUSED my offer, you are a what.
Jake is a man of Honor. If I extended to Jake this same offer, he would have POUNCED on it. Why did I offer to have YOU tested? Because Jake's word is from an Established Man who has ALWAYS been a Man of honor, who's word is his total being.
You, on the other hand, with your sig line, clearly leads me to believe your POLYGRAPH would be far more PRODUCTIVE.
The OFFER stands. All outta MY POCKET. The standard fee is currently at about $300.00 an hour for a Polygraph with a three hour minimum. The additional money I figure equals another $300 or so. I really don't think that posting his mailing address will accomplish anything other than to possibly lead to him being harassed. If that is what you would like to see happen, then go ahead. Putting a persons personal information out on a public forum can be a very bad thing to do. It is possible that some really strange people read this forum and you never know what might happen. IMO what you should post is his real name, just incase we run into him again and he decides to go by that name instead.
 
So Ira, be sure you let us know what Ganjakid has told you he wants to do. Also make sure, if he does take the polygraph, that he is asked questions pertaining to the original knife and whether he had planned on fulfilling his part of the original transaction. You know, the part of this whole thing that he seems unwilling to address. Since Jake never recieved the knife he traded for it is obvious that it was never sent, since you can not recall a shipment.

If he had planned on waiting to see the knife he traded for before sending his knife out and that is not what was originally agreed to then he is someone who should not be traded with. If everybody had that attitude then knives would never get traded. The only other explanation is that he never planned on sending the knife in the first place and that would make him a scamming scum bucket and in books that is way worse than being jerk bait.
 
Let's say for the sake of argument, that ganjakid did return the knife. Jake says the box was not tampered with, so how do you explain the missing knife? Is ganjakid suggesting someone at USPS carefully opened the box, went through the contents, stole the knife and meticulously sealed the box, concealing any evidence of tampering?
