Ganja has agreed, with stipulations to take the polygraph. I have no PROBLEM with the stipulations. I will NOT post them now. The only glitch is :
1. The legal contract that if I expend my own money to set this up and he then FAILS to follow thru, he shall be financially liable for all my costs. My Attorney ( great having a brother as a Lawyer!!!) is going to write it up with very specific and narrow wording. Maybe one or two sentences.

ASSuming Ganja does EXECUTE this contract and has it NOTARIZED, I shall immediately located a Court Certified expert to administer the Polygraph.

This, by request, cannot happen UNTIL after 01-02-02. I have no problem with this request, he has "offered" a very reasonable and justifiable need to wait.

So...I am on the hook, this issue is wide-open and No ONE is GUILTY IMO.

Now, I/WE wait for the outcome..........

Ira, you most certainly have not pissed me off. You have however made me wonder as to why you would want to do this. I realize that getting to the truth of this matter is a good thing, but is this situation any more important than all the other just like it that come up all the time? Are you going to offer to do this every time such a situation arises?

IMO the money that you are spending on this would be much better invested in some of those knives that you want to get.

If you do end up going through with this, make sure that those stipulations do not include him not having to answer questions involving why he never sent his part of the trade to Jake. That, to me, is every bit as bad as not sending Jake's knife back to him and saying he did. He must be open to answering all questions pertaining to this trade. If not, he is trying to hide something and the polygraph test will not indicate his true motives nor his innocence or guilt in this matter.
 
I guess I have to second that. Why bother? For all reasons cited the guy is an idiot, *I* would never deal with him, and I imagine no one else here would, either. He'll do what idiots like him have always done: Go away for a month or two, then turn up with a new username. Why would you spend $1000+ further proving him an idiot, when it's not going to stop his idiocy?

If you are indeed telling the truth, best of luck to you in clearing your name & resolving the issue. If not, then you sir have put your dick into the hornet's nest. The person you entered into the trade with has been on the fourms for some time and his integrity here is above reproach. BTW, put down the bong & run spell check on your signature line. (Hunter S. Thompson, right?)

i think to guestion the word of Jake is dam wrong.i have done many deals with this man and have only the highest regards for him both as a trader and a friend.to ask him to even think of taking a polygraph
to prove who is right and wrong is a insult to the good name he has.
i say gangakid needs to send Jake either his knife or the money to replace it with.gangakid,do us all a favor and light up another one
and just fade away.
 
Ganjakid you said that you sent the knife back to Jake and he says it was not in the box. I think you should check the area around where you packaged the knife(table and floor}. You never know it may have fallen out of the box without you realizing it.

I know when I used to smoke i would get very forgetful.I'm sure you could take the time to look around and see if you might have forgot to actually put the knife in the box before it was taped up.I once put the ice cream in the cabinet instead of the freezer.What a mess.I'm sure everyone would understand an honest mistake ,right?
Why don't you look behind the bong.It sure would be nice to see a good ,honest man like Jake get this deal closed.....

First and foremost. All my life I have had this thing about the taking or alleged taking of another's property. I find this crime revolting. I am in a position that allows me to do somethings that might HELP to slow it down

2. I have come to really love and enjoy BF. Firthermore, I count Jake Evans as MY friend. Why would I not do this for a friend. I know the workings of the Criminal Justice system as well as the best of the best here on BF KNOWS KNIVES, For me, this is a cake-walk. The money for something like this is well worth it.

And IF anyone thinks or suggests this is a "scamming the scammer", YOU HAVE NO CLUE who I am, what I represent, what I believe in and what I cherish and fight for. I believe in fighting ONLY the good fight and when a friend needs an issue resolved, IT IS MY BUSINESS, and why would I not offer my expertise.

Do some of you find it so unusal to see a FRIEND extend a helping hand, even if it means spending a few bucks. I have very FEW friends, but to thise I call "friend", this is not something I would need to think twice about.

So that's why I am doing it. Maybe AFTER the truth is ascertained, there just might be less of this type of CRAP here on BF. I have no ulterior motives and I am NOT doing it for me, I am doing this for ALL OF US.............wolf:( :(

If you are reading this (which I must assume that you are), do what a couple folks here have suggested, and look around your place for the knife that you say that you mailed. Perhaps you THOUGHT that you put it in the box, but didn't. That is an honest mistake, and it's still not too late to rectify this mix-up.

No matter what...PLEASE do the right thing...After-all, this IS the Christmas Season.:).

Someone stole a knife package out of my mail-box a little over a year ago, so I do feel the pain of your loss, but don't give-up hope...Yet.
 
It may well be that glockman99 has hit the nail on the head.
I once sent a CD back to the supplier for exchange.
He was adamant that he only received an empty case.
I would have sworn in a court of law that I sent the actual CD.
He replaced it without any further argument.
You can imagine my embarrassment when I found the CD in the grandson’s toy box a few days later.
He must have taken it when I went to get a coffee, while in the process of wrapping the parcel for shipping.
I had to write a very apologetic letter – luckily the supplier had also had some experience with small children.
 
Jake's word is above reproach. Alot of you new guys have never dealt with me, I don't trade much anymore. Some of the older guys know me. I've been around since Dec '99. Changed my screenname.

I just saw this thread, sorry I did not post sooner Jake.

While I do not know this Ganjakid, I trust Jake's word without fail.
Perhaps there was an honest mistake in packaging as Glockman 99 eluded to earlier. Irregardless,Jake did not receive his knife back. He emailed me about this before he posted asking me a probing question or two.Picking my brain, since I work for the USPS.

I hope this matter can be resolved.

As NCBlades stated on another thread, "let's remember...Jesus is the reason for the season".

You know Mr. Evans, I would advise against that, do what you want, say what you want about ME in here, but post my mailing address in here, I will take that as a DIRECT THREAT AGAINST MY FAMILY, do what you want, say what you want about me, I can take it I'm a big boy now. But screw with my family and I guarantee you will not like the outcome. Just some friendly advise.

Now as for the ones who just had to chime in and make comments on my screen name, like quit smoking the weed or maybe I should put the bong down. I haven't touched the stuff for 12 years, the place I work and (I have a CDL class A license) gives mandatory random piss tests, not only do they use the expensive test they pre-test for additves and to make sure its really piss, I can't even take cough syrup without them knowing, hell I don't even drink.

As for my signature,I got that saying from a bumper sticker a guy gave me a long time ago who happened to be a total anti government anti management and its just stuck with me ever since.
So I guess what I'm tring to get through here is Don't judge a book by its cover and remember what J.C. said, "JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED". Oh yah, one more thing, yes I'm going through with the test.
 
actually, i never have moral problems divulging addresses because that's public knowledge. easily accessible by anyone who wants to put a few minutes of work into it. so unless you're in the witness protection program, where u live, your phone number, name, and tons of other info is public information. (it's that most people aren't aware of that). really, that's what makes identity theft/fraud crimes so easy these days.
 
That sure doesn't sound like friendly advice to me. I would still like to know why ganjakid didn't send his knife and fulfill his part of the trade. He has yet to answer that question. Even if he did send Jake's knife back to him, not sending Jake his part of the trade still makes ganjakid a jerk in my book. I am sure that Jake would have gotten that knife by now if it had ever been sent in the first place. I would sure like to know what ganjakid thinks making a trade is all about.

No, I don't see anything unusual in that.

However I find it remarkable that you're willing to put up a sum in excess of 1000 dollars. To some of us, that's an awful lot of money!

Any friend of mine would have to be in pretty serious trouble for me to fork over that much money and I certainly wouldn't do it simply because my friend's well deserved and widely recognized good reputation was being impugned by someone going by the username "ganjakid."

I sincerely commend you on your devotion to your friend, Wolfmann.
I'm truly impressed.
 
Ken, I bet your not nearly as impressed as I am. I just wish ganja would end this farce and make good on his end so we can end all this BS now.

A couple of things that stay very PRIVATE between You, I and Jake. what takes place PRIOR to the test DOES NOT get posted HERE or ANYWHERE.

If you want to make this a PISSING CONTEST, and continue it at FULL SPEED, then LET's get this COOKING TODAY!!!!

STOP clouding this issue with self-righteous REMARKS concerning dope, piss tests, CDL's and the remarkable tests used. THEY are very Inaccurate PRESUMPTIVE TESTS. The ONLY way to make a Scientific determination is via BLOOD, NOT PISS. And, if you think that EVERYONE with a CDL is so afraid of BIG BROTHER that they have ALL stopped using dope, you are wrong. Ganja, YOU KNOW that the number one cause of traffic crashes involving TT's units involves the driver nodding off. In far too many cases, the Blood tests AFTER the fact showed the presence of AMPHETAMINES. YOU KNOW THIS!!!! This is a KNIFE-ISSUE

Do what I have asked....put this on HOLD...DO what some have SUGGESTED, look around the house. I have read all the E-mails involved. While you swear you put the knife in the Box, you really are NOT 100% sure. I just got back the THIRD package of very cheap velcro I have been trying to mail to another formite. There is no reason for me to lie or scam as I have provided and shipped it FREE, there was NO deal. Good thing it came back. I discovered that I did NOT put the VELCRO in!!!!!! It was still sitting on top of my fridge. I SWORE I did, and even my wife was schocked.....LOOK around. IF you DO find it, YOU SHALL be shown FULL mercy here on BF. ALL it takes is to admit your mistake.

if you are still on the course we agreed to...STOP now and just WAIT......

Ken, It is NOT going to cost as much as first thought, but for a FRIEND, money is NOT an issue. Thanks Sir for the kind words. I would do this again and again to make BF the best place for a knifeknut to belong.............................Ira
