Clean Mosin.
Thanks. It is in 44 special.Flattop, nice!
Better yet! The Ruger Blackhawk Flattops in .44 Special are about as close as you can get to Elmer Keith’s No. 5 in a production revolver…Bisley would be closer perhaps but I’m a fan of the standard plow-handle on my single actions.Thanks. It is in 44 special.
Hell yeah. I have a minty Finn M39 and mine looks like a painted scratch and dent compared to that beauty.Clean Mosin.![]()
I have a couple of the Jericho 941 .45 ACP model... or MR Baby Eagle imports. Those CZ clones have the slimmest double stack .45 grips... not unlike a small frame 9mm CZ. but I love a Glock 41 or H&K USP .45 too... I use the medium beavertail backstrap. A G41 MOS with RMR and 16 rounds is pretty good. Baby eagle has 10+1 and a H&K has 12+1.Me 2.
The double stack 1911's in 45ACP had the same "problem" or "issue" ...
Oh well. As the old Sit-Com alleged .... "8 Is Enough"(but it don't hurt none to carry an extra mag or two ... or three ...
)
I shoot a 250 Keith out of my Super Blackhawk. they are also super accurate out of my Marlin lever gun but they are a smidge too long to function through the action reliably. Absolutely tough beyond comparison.Here’s a mess of 44-250-K bullets I cast last night.
Impressive compact pistol those Sig-Sauers, looks like it's got what it takes. Please mail me one here in Europe..When I am going light and stealth, this little Sigg rides with me. I don't carry that jumbo congress very often, but it is interesting to me because I carried one just like it for 15 some-odd years every day and wore it out. It has four different pattern blades and that can be a huge plus to me. The 9 mm firearm is capable of really discouraging a bad guy, probably permanently, but not a terrible kicker in the hand. Love that little gun. I stopped using so-called 'defensive' ammunition in my several semi-automatic pistols because every once in awhile they would jam. I just stay with hardball and that ammo will play hell with an enemy just fine. If not, I have already lived a long and rewarding life.

It is a Browning Maxus Maple Golden Clays.
I have a hard time passing up a beautiful rifle or shotgun if I can afford it. I found that one at a local gun show 6 or 7 years ago and just had to have it.Very nice looking! Gotta love nice wood and blued steel on a firearm. I belong to a few gun forums and one in particular has a running wood and blued steel pic thread. Thank you for posting this.
