Traditional Knives & Slingshots

I'll probably be at church for six hours today. It's All Souls Sunday, with a special extra long communion liturgy, and a lot of candle-lighting, which won't speed things up much.
We United Methodists are pretty high church for an old Baptist boy.

I'll bring my Axiom Champ to cheer me up, because the Lord loves a cheerful giver.
I'm at the back of the house, so if the candles get out of hand, I'll live to tell the tale.

Thanks for the attachment tip, afishhunter afishhunter . Not for everyone, but just my speed.

LOL! :D Great post Jer :D Those bands definitely look better, and more secure, turned back like that :) Get them evened out, and they'll look even better! :p:D :thumbsup:

Well, I didn't get to use the slingshot, but church didn't run over more than a usual communion Sunday, so I'm cheerful.

Twelve dead in the church this year, and I had six more of my own to light candles for.
I'm starting to wear a mask again. I want to be the last saint to light a candle, not the next one to have a candle lit for him.

I cut a bit more off the Scout bands.

Blimey Jer, heavy year :( Everybody seems to be ill over here at the moment :rolleyes: Sweet combination there :) Funny how you can keep cutting a bit off the bands :) :thumbsup:
 
Been managing to find time to do more plinking recently, and I've really been enjoying this G10 beauty, (Scout X), I was very kindly gifted by Generous Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 :) I reckon it's the best-looking slingshot I own, and it shoots great too, usually fire it pinch-grip :thumbsup:

After a session with the Scout last night, I decided to do a bit with my Sparrow, which at $10 in the USA, I think is an absolute bargain, and a great slingshot. A few shots in, the band went, which with tapered bands is not such a big deal. I will miss the old THeraband Gold, and leather pouch combo, which have superseded over the past 5 years 😢
