Traditional treasure hunt picture game

Ok first congrats to eisman eisman that was a stumper! I'm going to go light hearted and should be fairly easy to get us back on track.
How about a pic of yourself and your Grand Dad with one of you ( or both) holding a granddaddy barlow:thumbsup: Wish I could DO this challenge myself,
Edit: or you and a grandchild with a Granddaddy Barlow

Well, I'm out. My last grandfather died in '75. Hell of a guy. Gave me my first (and long lost) Barlow. Taught me how to roll cigarettes too. (That was handy when I was a teenager.) Wish he was still around.

I honestly didn't expect to go unanswered. With all the GEC love on this forum somebody has to have some of those knives. The one I posted is a lot less likely to show.

My mother's Dad passed when I was 9. I remember being at their home when he'd come home from the coal mines, the black coal dust in the wrinkles around his eyes. He took me to my first real barber to get a haircut. (My Mom usually cut it) That leather and chrome chair was HUGE lol. I went to that barber until he retired about the time I left high school. My Dad never really knew his real Dad, and his stepdad died before I was born. My step Grand Dad was a good man, always ready with a story or a joke. Gave me my first revolver, a little .22 RG I was 12. He passed in 03. I was also fortunate to know one of my great grandfathers, loved his stories to. Didn't waste anything, comon trait amongst those who lived through the depression. I remember him opening packages with a little slipjoint, kinda a peanut sized thing. No clue what it was. He passed when I was 14. Great Men all

I know this doesn’t count but wanted to share. Both of my grandfathers died when I was very young. I now get to watch my dad (77) play and enjoy time with my son (5). I took this pic of dad holding the Boker he carried in Vietnam, me holding the first knife he gave me, and my son holding his first knife, a S&M Barlow gifted by Ken Daniels. Just because.

Nice photo. Both my grandfathers died decades ago. It's up to Misplaced Hillbilly, but you do have a grandfather, grandson, and Barlow in the same photo, even if you are the middle generation.

You know what, that's to cool to not count, I'll accept that! To me that's what makes this thread fun, it may not "technically" what I asked for, but it just "feels" right:)
