Wish I still drank CokeOK... I'd like to see any advertisement knife in a picture along with the actual product it is advertising![]()
Idle curiosity (and I wouldn't post this to try to meet Kevin's challenge): wouldn't almost any knife with a shield containing the maker's name/logo (I'm thinking about text like Case and Rough Rider, but you could make an argument for graphics like Buck or Boker) be an advertising knife advertising itself???OK... Waiting for @Duckdog to post his "Pacific Guano & Fertilizing Co." knife...I'm guessing they're going for something like a Ford knife with a Ford vehicle or a John Deere knife with something John Deere. But Remington or Winchester knives might be a grey area. I get what you're saying though.

I believe that would be considered a "brand" mark and not an advertisement otherwise you could say every bottle of beer with a label on it is an advertisement beer LoL. I don't think Charlie considers his knives "ad" knivesIdle curiosity (and I wouldn't post this to try to meet Kevin's challenge): wouldn't almost any knife with a shield containing the maker's name/logo (I'm thinking about text like Case and Rough Rider, but you could make an argument for graphics like Buck or Boker) be an advertising knife advertising itself???

I've always been fascinated by self-referential paradoxes like "This page intentionally left blank" or the truth value of "I always tell lies" or the infinite regress in the image on Droste cocoa tinsI'm guessing they're going for something like a Ford knife with a Ford vehicle or a John Deere knife with something John Deere. If you can point me to the "Show me Your Traditional Steak Knife Thread" I'll give you the green lightDoes a "traditional" steak knife count?
