Traditional treasure hunt picture game

Be careful what you ask for. I won this in a GAW. Thats as far as I'll go. It says "Bobbitt's Weenie Whacker." Google Lorena Bobbitt for a laugh.
NOT AN ENTRY.
Hahaha, my Uncle had one of those, his son-in-law has it now.
OK... I'd like to see any advertisement knife in a picture along with the actual product it is advertising ;)
Wish I still drank Coke

Idle curiosity (and I wouldn't post this to try to meet Kevin's challenge): wouldn't almost any knife with a shield containing the maker's name/logo (I'm thinking about text like Case and Rough Rider, but you could make an argument for graphics like Buck or Boker) be an advertising knife advertising itself??? :confused:o_O:rolleyes:

I'm guessing they're going for something like a Ford knife with a Ford vehicle or a John Deere knife with something John Deere. But Remington or Winchester knives might be a grey area. I get what you're saying though.

Waiting for @Duckdog to post his "Pacific Guano & Fertilizing Co." knife...;)

Does a "traditional" steak knife count? :D

I believe that would be considered a "brand" mark and not an advertisement otherwise you could say every bottle of beer with a label on it is an advertisement beer LoL. I don't think Charlie considers his knives "ad" knives ;) As far as Winchester/Remington, the knife alone is a brand mark but the knife with ammunition... Bingo :)

I've always been fascinated by self-referential paradoxes like "This page intentionally left blank" or the truth value of "I always tell lies" or the infinite regress in the image on Droste cocoa tins

Nice to get a chance to show these, my Kastor Doctor's Knife and a Heavy Cartilage Knife by Thackray of Leeds, plus a vintage Surgeon's Knife marked J.Hall. Hope that's OK?

Surgical knives(S).JPG

By coincidence, I am off to the hospital shortly (more tests), situated next to the Thackray Medical Museum - https://www.thackraymedicalmuseum.co.uk/

Turns out my hospital appointment is this afternoon, rather than this morning  I kind of wish I put a pair of surgical gloves into that pic, but if it is OK, my request would be for a knife relating to the weaving or cotton industry (eg Tackler, Loomfixer, Cotton Sampler), and an object relating to that industry - not an item of clothing, but maybe a cotton bobbin, loom, shuttle, etc. Real objects, same picture
