Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

It's a big country out here, so I scout, scout, and scout some more.

A shot from one of the camps I love hunting from:

Well that's just a horrible view!
I need to move out of California soon!

Headed for page 2 bump! Where oh where is hunting season!!

Okay, that does it. Old hunting pictures coming up! :) :D:

Yes that is Remington's R-15. I really like it for a stand gun, the follow-ups are so fast on multiples, and it's super accurate. Only problem is, it's easy to burn up a lot of ammunition, ha!

FBPChris, what's the plan on your build? You staying with .223?

I got a mini 14 rigged with light, laser/ scope (these two not always on) tapco stock with ar butt stock. Makes a decent pig gun/varmet rifle

I've never had a mini 14, but did get to shoot my father in law's. It was a fun gun to shoot. You could definitely sling some rounds with it, too.

I'm usually packing a bolt gun except on stand calling coyotes. Sometimes I'll grab both the AR and a shotgun if the walk isn't too bad, though, and keep the bolt gun as a truck gun.

Its chambered in a .308. Its damn good gun. Only gave less then $200 if my memory serves me right. Already had a desert digi cam on the stock. I want to buy a red field for it to see if there still building quality or if they've gone to quantity like most others.

Man you did alright on that deal. I've had trouble with a couple redfields. Kinda turned me off of them, but the talk lately is that they're better.

Nice football. Keep us up on progress.

Yea HK I scored good with a semi (Texas) local guy and drove to meet him. Leaupold owns them know, as far as I know.
