Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

That bowkill buck is a dang fine buck, man. Nice job. Are those eyeguards split on both sides?

And the gamecam buck, what a pig! Love that split G3.

You can sure tell they're northern bucks, that's the kind of heavy body I'm used to seeing on Montana whitetail.

hopefully i will be able to contribute next deer season or upcoming spring turkey season. I saw plenty of fresh deer signs but no deer. i probably smell bad or am too loud or something, but i did a ton of walking and didn't even bump a deer, although i didn't start until a week into blackpowder. for turkey season i'm using my benelli, I'm not taking my chances with a bow.
but i did catch plenty of fish

Cool thread. Here is my 2015 longbow buck

You are my hero man! Ive shot compounds for 25 years and switched to a longbow about two years ago. I havent been hunting with it yet, no time. I am quite good with it and confident I could take down a deer. I have a 55 pound Fred Bear Montana and i think next year I am going to upgrade. I have been looking at a Tomahawk Bows takedown for a while. But they are pricey

I like Bear traditional bows. I have a 59 Kodiak and that Montana is a good shooter. I wanted to buy one but the wife was in the no mood. This buck I took with a Centaur Triple Carbon Elite 60" 53@28" I have a 29"draw
Thanks for the compliment:)

We see some here on occasion and also mountain lion. When I lived in heavy timber country we saw lots of tracks but never the cat. But this country is much more broken up. We are able to tree a few every winter as well.

Here's a big tom that refuses to look for the picture. They get pretty pissy. I really believe they think this is their world and we just also happen to live in it.

Nice photo. No big cats up here where I stay in Ohio. Coyotes here and there. Maybe a few turkey. Tons of deer though. I'm slightly envious.

no, blue fish. the striper weren't biting so i decided to jig and was nailing decent size blues and black sea bass. Nice buck btw. I just started with a compound this past year with no luck but i'll keep at it, my dad shot traditional and always came home with meat. i'm not ready for traditional bows.

You've got lots and deer and few coyotes, we've got few deer and lots of coyotes, lol. We've got some turkeys in this country, too. They introduced them a few years back and they took to it pretty good.

Nice looking fish rx.

Hard Knocks love the pix especially of the cats. Those are high on my bucket list(if you that what you call it). I hunted bobcat Behind hounds a few years ago and it was a ball. A few years before that I hunted NE Idaho for elk. Not much for elk but lots of cat and wolf signs.

Thanks man. I grew up with the dogs pursuing everything that would climb a tree, and it got in my blood and stayed there. I love training them from pup to finished hound, some of my best friends are the four-legged type, ha.

Yeah, the wolves really took a toll on our game herds. A lot of the elk have actually moved into closer proximity to humans, and out of the wilderness, just to escape some pressure by wolves. The herds in the wilderness just got decimated some years back.

You would have a great time on my land then as I have a ton of coons. I do enjoy watching them while bowhunting.

Here's a decent Sika doe I got last month. Didn't have a Survive! knife at the time, but my trusty old Fallkniven F1 was more than up for the task of quartering her out. Very good eating!
