Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

They are pretty darn good. I have been fishing that river since I was a little kid. We eat a lot of brown trout!

We've got some browns in the Owyhee River here I think. Not sure if it's all catch-and-release, though. I'd like to slip down and cast for a few this summer. I might have to hit you up for tips, though HM, unless they're a typical trout.

We get alot of blue & mud cat. The large mouth bass are always fun to fish.

Lots of channel and blue cat here as well, being on the Snake River. And some pretty good flatheads. If those things are on the bite, nothing in the water is safe, ha. More smallies than largemouth but yeah they're both a kick to catch.

IMHO crappie and brim are the best tasting around here. Everything is a blast to fish for even if i dont get anything.

Slowed down in here, so.........

Dang I need to dust out some of the cobwebs lol.

HK, the fishing gets pretty tough around here in the middle of summer. The weeds grow so high in the river and makes it almost impossible to fish some of the good holes. It gets really good in October. My youngest son brought this one home last October. I think it was around 27 inches.

Sorry, I laughed out loud when I was scrolling down. When I glanced I thought the cougar was a sloppy photoshopping until I actually looked at it and realized it was a nice border.....

That cougar rug is beautiful!

Thanks bud, and that's a nice brown your son caught. I bet he was tickled with it. Maybe I can slip out in October before deer season starts up, those pics are getting me anxious :)

LOL. Yeah that's the felt the taxidermist lined it with. I'd sooner castrate myself than photoshop a trophy picture or hang something on the wall that isn't mine.

Knocks: Did you get that cougar close to where you live?

Yes, it was taken in the hills a bit north of here. Probably only about 45 miles as the crow flies, but a couple hours drive time. There's cats right here close to town though, we've a good elk population within minutes of town and I'm sure the cats are just following the feed. I had some elk pics I took a winter or two back in the farm ground right on the edge of town. I'll see if I can find one in a minute.

And knocks you gotta tell me how you post your pictures. Im trying to not give folks access to my photobucket.

Hmmm....I went back through this thread Texas, and I see what you're saying now, although I didn't plan it that way. I use two hosting services. One is imgur and the other is photobucket. When you scroll over the pics posted from imgur, there is no option to click on it and go to my imgur account, so no problem there and I'm very pleased with that. My photobucket pics do allow that "hand" option to click on the pic and go to the account. However, although it brings up the pic I posted in the thread, it will not let you scroll through the rest of my account as in settings I have set it to 'private.'

I really like imgur. I would use it solely IF I could upload straight from my cell to my imgur account. Currently the pic has to be saved to computer and then uploaded. Photobucket has an app that lets you upload straight from your cell and is very convenient, but I like their site less. Hope this helps.

HK, I definitely wasn't challenging your predatory skills or honesty, just commenting on my own lack of attention to detail. Keep up the good work out there! Also, thanks for the picture sharing info.

Texas, I use only my phone as well. I had been using the photobucket site, but I downloaded the app and was able to change the privacy settings there. Make sure to change the setting for your "bucket" and each album. Check on of my pics to confirm!

Now... back to the hunt!

Cool thanks silver. Just got back from fishing. Caught a lil guy. Didnt have much time to be out today. Ill try to post a pic in a few

Not that its that interesting. Just a friend of mine tattooing my leg, and a past life thats no longer me. I got one fishing picture on there.

Hey bud, it's all good. No offense taken at all, hope it didn't come across that way. :)

Spent a nice couple of days in the hills. Hope you all are doing good.

And Texas, yeah it looks like you've got it locked down now
