Trophy Room - Hunting and Fishing Pics

They pretty much all are. At least the larger ones. I have a great white tooth (3.125") that is supposedly 1/8" off the world record but who really knows. It is in the picture 3rd from the left of the 6" Meg that's in the middle.

Those are beautiful finds, and I'm betting there are many people very envious of that collection. I am totally ignorant of that field, but I can certainly appreciate the amount of effort that must have went into searching all of those out. Thanks for sharing

I have not found all of them. I also have a friend who a diver and have bought, sold and traded some. It's much more difficult to find them now. My favorite place to hunt in South Carolina (I could find over 100 teeth on some days) has been destroyed and turned in to a Marina :(. There are fewer places that you can find them or are allowed to look for them.

I guess we all lose more area all the time, no matter what we pursue :(

There is a place in Maryland that is legendary for megalodon teeth. ITs called Calvert Cliffs. People find em there all the time. Look it up

Having the tooth of a massive creature like a Megalodon would be a humbling thing. Good stuff.

I FINALLY got to go dove hunting this AM. We all limited out in a few hours. Tons of fun, though I shot like a tourist towards the end and changed guns. It worked and had my best shot of the day with the second gun.

The rolling hills of VA are beautiful! This was at about 7:30 AM

About an hour later

We had 5 people hunting this field I was at the end for these shots

Switched to the 28g with a longer barrel (30") for these long passing shots. It worked and I was hitting birds again. Too much bourbon the night before I guess....

About 10 minutes later I hit this bird about 40 to 50 yards out. It was alive so I had to euthanize it

Can't wait to get my son out to one of these hunts!

Green with envy bro! I gott try and meet up with you for a hunt!

Any time....and there are upland hunts in VA about an hour from DC. Oh I forgot to mention, we breasted them out and ate them for an early lunch. They were TASTY!!

Looks like a Berretta O/U. I like the 30" barrels also. I don't hunt hunt doves but I was thinking about it while bowhunting today. I had a pile of them at a little water hole

When I hear about doves I am always reminded of the time my step dad cooked them whole, I believe on the bbq, so their wings were charred spikes. My brother and I started play fighting them as though they were action figures. We got in trouble for playing with our food. I believe there was mention of us being too old to be acting so immature.

I am looking forward to seeing this thread at the top these next couple of months, it is one of my favorites!

That's a great story Ellie! My grandfather loved quail and we would try to find the tiny wishbone (we had them for breakfast) and see who could make a wish.

Woohoo, fawn-killer down! We're getting over run with them here, time to do something about it. Nicely done Jon.
